Omg it was so delicious. It was the smoked or roasted chicken, and that thing was damn good. The sausage was also delicious. I didn't really like the mashed potatoes too much. They were a bit bland. The mac and cheese was good, but had a very sharp cheddar flavor, which, depending on who you are, may be a good or bad thing. Cornbread and rolls were good as well. I will have to come back and try the ribs because they looked packed with flavor.

The soul food Café is amazing. I've been here many times over several years and they have changed…read morethe place quite a bit. It is still inviting and Family run and the food is wonderful. It is obvious that many people are regulars at this establishment and are known to the staff well. This makes it feel friendly and welcoming. You order at the counter and go get your food when it is ready. My only suggestion would be that they have their iced tea ready more regularly.

Our waitress was so sweet and made sure to check on us while managing the front register as well. Shout out to her for working double and I loved her hair (lol side note).
