How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

He came out two times and was late both times and then tried to double the price from the initial quote with my father in law who was there since I was at work. He told him that he could not authorize doubling the price since we were not informed of any changes. I gave him a check for the work the day before he was supposed to finish the repairs (my mistake) and then he decided to say he could not come out and finish the work. I asked for my money back for the work that was not completed and he said "the price was fair, I am not giving you money back" even though he had not completed all the repairs that we had agreed to. I was very understanding up until this point. He then called my father in law and my family selfish and that we only care about ourselves and used profanity towards us when I just wanted my money back for the work that was still outstanding. This is no way for a professional to talk to clients that just paid $1000 for incomplete work. He then told me he wouldn't work with me anymore and that I was being unreasonable and rude (even though I'm the homeowner and he had no problem cashing my check right away). He told my father in law to do the work at HIS expense even though Steve had already been paid to do the work. Would NEVER recommend using this guy on any occasion.

Empire needs to properly train their consultants to be completely transparent about Synchrony Bank's billing practices instead of glossing over the details just to close a deal.
