The storefront. Trust me, it looks a lot better in the evening

Was looking for a particular Kentucky bourbon that the two major alcohol peddlers didn't have in stock. Well, Jason's had it, along with some other hard-to-find spirits. The store isn't by any means a large warehouse. It's just one floor and all the expensive stuff is behind the counter. Easy in and out transaction. Prices are pretty reasonable compared to the other outlets. My only complaint is the parking. This is, after all, downtown LA. There's metered parking out front, but good luck with that. There's an adjacent paid public spot if you're planning on staying for a bit. Other than that, you're better off coming on a Sunday as all the street meters are turned off. Also, I think this is more of a buy online and pick up establishment. So most people will do their research before they come in. I thought the guy at the counter was nice, but was a little lacking in his whiskey knowledge it seemed. Anyway, good luck out there!

Rude AF AND RACIST employees. Called to ask a general question at 2:13 PM. 10/3/2025 whoever answered the phone thought it was funny to put on an Indian accent and just tell me they're busy w every time I repeated the question. I said, bro this is not cool because you're clearly spending more time telling me you're busy than answering my yes or no question I asked for his name and he wouldn't give me it and hung up and now they are not answering the store. I'd give zero stars for your crappy cashiers and service. I live around the corner and am holding myself back from coming in right now tos eh him straight. Not cool. I used to come in here and spend a lot of money but now I'm never coming back or spending another dime here. You can Thank your racist worker that refused to give me his name (it's ok I'm sure you have cameras with audio to watch this crappy interaction) for answering the phone to mock me rather then assist me with my question.

Jason's is a pretty cool Wine & Spirits shop with some essential local convenience store charm to boot. It reminds me of the small chain Mission Wine & Spirits only with more of a neighborhood vibe and feel. The had a lot of wine and spirits to choose from and a lot soon to be refilled and stocked... This place definitely gets shopped hard. The prices are definitely some of the best for DTLA with maybe a dollar or two difference depending on the brewery, distillery or winery. They carry some classic snacks and non-alcoholic favs as well (vitamin water, cookies, instant noodles, etc.) It was pretty cool to see they even have a few vegan friendly treats including jerky as well. The guy who helped me on the floor and rang me up was super cool, helpful and hilarious. I came here on recommendation from a friend and I'm really glad I stopped by. I got a nice bottle of Cline Cellars Pinot Grigio for dinner tonight. Will definitely stop by here again next time I'm in the area and grab more. I don't live close by at all, but am occasional nearby when visiting the person I'm seeing in K-town. Quality over quantity is always a plus in my book.

Yargaki Sake Junmai in a beautiful blue bottle. Next to Lana Del Rey of course.

They had the limited-edition whiskey I was searching for, even when every other store was sold out.

Frequently, we rely on Jason's for late-night delivery. Their speed is impressive, and the convenience is unparalleled.

I had never heard of or been here before, but it seemed like a chill spot overall. It's a pretty big place with both outdoor seating and a split indoor layout, but everything was nice and comfortable. I ordered a beer flight I only ended up being a fan of one of them, but that one definitely hit, so that's a win. We came for a stand-up show, and it was a little empty, but honestly I didn't mind the relaxed vibe.

The place has a really cool, laid-back vibe spacious, industrial style, and super inviting. It got busy, but the staff handled it well and were friendly the whole time. I don't drink, but my friends all grabbed beers and kept saying how good they were (they're definitely known for their craft beers). Everyone was happy, which says a lot! I just enjoyed the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd. There's plenty of seating, clean bathrooms (always important), and even a separate room with a stage, so it looks like they host live music and events too. Big plus: it feels like a great spot to hang out after a run or meet up with friends. I've also heard they often have food trucks, which makes it even better. Overall, great vibes, good service, and a fun place to unwind. Would definitely come back with the group!

Naturally, we followed the music... and wow, what a vibe! This place is such a vibe-y outdoor hangout spot. Super cute, super chill. The first thing you see? A full bar built into a refurbished 1954 Spartan Trailercoach and yes, it's as cool as it sounds, serving beer and craft cocktails. The music was bumpin', the energy was up, but it still had this cozy, intimate feel. Perfect combo. My boyfriend and I both got the Paloma and we snagged a spot in the back to catch the DJ doing his thing. Our table was a little wobbly and my cocktail tipped! Such a bummer but the bartender didn't miss a beat. She sent someone to clean it up immediately and replaced my drink with a fresh one. Didn't catch her name but shoutout to her for the amazing service! There was a big group nearby just vibing, laughing, and living their best life. The whole place felt like a spontaneous backyard party you never want to leave. So glad we wandered in this is definitely a new fave.

They also had a good option this year! Yummy tacos, quesadillas and nachos were available for purchase. The staff was really on it, always making rounds to clear empty glasses outside. This is a fun place to go in general but also definitely a fun and chill vibe for new years eve!
