I decided to renew my passport with Jasmine because I did not want the hassle of doing it myself. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS IF YOU ARE A MINORITY. She basically pre-judged as soon as i walked in.. She gave me the total for my car Registration Services and asked me how i would like to pay. I told her i would pay half cash and half on my credit card.. This is perfectly normal, as i am sure everyone has paid a business this way before.. As soon as brought out cash, she Refused to take cash from me stating "Its a risk for her." What ever that means.. I asked her what risk and she couldn't explain herself. She said she couldn't take cash of a certain amount.. I told her the cash wasn't even close to that amount, but she still refused even after she just clearly told me her cash limit. I guess her risk is that i am "BLACK" and giving her half my payment by cash.. My money is a risk to her. Maybe because i am black, my money might be counterfeit or i might be doing something illegal.. I would honestly like to know what is risky about taking cash from me ?? She told my options was to go to the bank and get cashiers check or money order Or i can pay by credit card and she will charge me processing fees and need my ID as well. That was the only way she would take the payment from me. This is my first yelp review. That is how shocked i am about this. This is still happening in 2020. read more
