I feel like I've been living under a rock because how is it that I'm just trying Java Burrito Company. I'm local, I SWEAR! I had an appointment in the area and I committed to having lunch at a new spot. I saw they had burrito bowls and I was like, you know what, YEAH! So I walked to the location and was surprised by how vast this restaurant is. As a newb, I entered through the coffee bar but I appreciate the signs telling you the food is down the corner :) There were about 5 individuals in line and several seated. I knew it had to be a gem. I love the fact that they support local vendors for their restaurant. You can 100% taste the quality difference. I ordered chicken bowl for $12. I love the toppings and the vinaigrette that's easily accessible. They also offer potatoes in your bowl! I will have to go back and try that option. The employees were super nice, although busy. The ambiance was very laid back but everyone seemed pleased. I opted to take my meal to go and ate quickly in my car. The food is delicious. As I mentioned, you can taste the quality difference over their competitors. I want to go back like right now!! Final verdict: look no further! This place is very deserving of 5 stars! I cannot wait to try them again.

    Egg and chicken breakfast burrito

A breakfast burrito hates to see me coming! We were headed out of town after a long weekend in Savannah when I stumbled upon this place and we obviously had no other option but to go in. It is a Chipotle style ordering process where they build your burrito or bowl right in front of you. There are a TON of burrito toppings and they really pile it high. I went with egg and chicken, potatoes, queso of course, black beans, fajita veggies, pico de gallo, more cheese and salsa verde. They have several hot sauces to dribble on each bite and let me just tell you, I DOVE into that burrito. It was incredible. You absolutely have to mark this spot for your next visit to Savannah. I really wish there was a breakfast burrito spot like this near us. Can't recommend enough. The cold brew coffee was good too but the burritos!! YES.

Definitely a place to visit! Customer service was great. I ordered a chicken bowl very delicious and experience a standard setting for a Restaurant not too noisy or crowded. Clean... . I had an issue with water leaking in from the window onto the table and was able to go speak with the manager and point the issue out to prevent further damage to Building and correction of issue. It was well received..

I'm in line getting my bowl. It's a fancier Chipotle place. Cool people- it's a busy day today bc it's a day before marathon. So far so good. Ok this place wins! The food was and is delicious! Great flavors! First time not seeing Latinos in the kitchen serving. Good ambiance here! Will be coming back!!

Adorable coffee shop that extends into a burrito/bowl spot. The bowl was just ok - it felt really small like the didn't add that much food in mine, but it was yummy. It was really hard to find a spot to sit since it was so crowded but we eventually found one inside and the spots are tight - back to back. The chai latte I got was fine too.

One of the best meals in Savanah!! We loved the burrito bowls! It was similar to chipotle, but so so much better! You could tell the ingredients were fresh and homemade and the spices and cooking of the chicken and everything was great! The guacamole and salsa were perfect! The queso was also amazing! So many fresh veggies and meat to chose from! Highly recommend chicken and guacamole here! The service line moved very quick and employees were great! The restaurant is so cute! I would love to come back on my next trip, and try the coffee and pastries! You must come here if in Savanah!

I stop by Java Burrito every so often for a coffee. Their drinks are delicious! Their vibe is cool and the staff is always so friendly. Stopped by today just for a quick snack. Similar to Moe's or Chipotle, the staff builds your tacos in front of you. I got 1 chicken taco with cheese and pineapples. Their chicken is tender and has a delicious seasoning. I'm not sure what's on their pineapples, but they are so !!! The only thing I'd change is their soft taco shells. I wish they were fresh or at least warmed up. They're just grocery store quality.

Ice matcha latte and crème brûlée latte with muffin

My partner and I stopped by Java Burrito Company in the afternoon to beat the summer heat, and we were pleasantly surprised at the drinks and food offered! I opted for an iced matcha latte and my partner got an iced crème brûlée latte and a muffin (warmed up). My matcha latte was nice and refreshing, but I also had a sip of the crème brûlée latte, and wow! It was sweet, creamy, and had a wonderful coffee taste. The muffin was incredible, too, absolutely melted in my mouth and super rich in butter and whatever magic put in there. While we didn't get burritos this time around, we'll be sure to return some day to try them out!

This such a cute burrito and coffee house. It's a coffee shop in the front and if you go to the back it's a burrito place. They have a few spots outside to sit so I think you could bring your dog. I didn't try the coffee shop so I'm excited to come back and try that. We ordered food. I got a burrito bowl. There are A LOT of options to choose from. Tons of veggies and such. The white rice was a little lackluster. They have black beans and pinto beans. I got guacamole on mine. It was okay. There chips were really good. There is street parking. If you don't mind walking you can probably find a spot.

Delicious food, great service and nice ambiance. For those who know the Chipotle franchise, it is like it but better because it's privately owned! A definite plus: A coffee shop onsite with gourmet coffees and teas.

I recently stopped in for a quick bite after attending an event nearby and was super excited to try a bowl for the first time. I had ordered food via a delivery service in the past and it was really good, so I knew dining in would be so much better. Unfortunately, it was just ok this time around. I stopped in 2 hours before closing and I noticed napkins/food under tables and plates left about for an extended period of time. There was a shortage of fresh ingredients to choose from and the food really lacked flavor for me. I will return, it probably just won't be so late in the day when I try it out again.

Whether it's a traditional espresso drink or one of their seasonal specials, the quality, attention to detail, and consistency are outstanding. This is one of those rare places where you can immediately tell the people behind the counter genuinely care about coffee and take pride in every drink they serve. As someone who spends an unhealthy amount of time exploring coffee shops, I don't hand out 5-star reviews lightly. Origin earns it because they consistently deliver exceptional coffee. If your primary goal is finding the best cup of coffee in Savannah, this is where I would send you first. A quick note: If you're looking for a place to camp out with a laptop for six hours and work all day, this isn't personally my first choice. That's not a criticism of Origin; it's simply a matter of preference.

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
