Wow.. where do I start. I started my morning with a Java, Creme brulee latte coffee. It was perfectly balanced so I didn't need to add anything. Then.. I came back for lunch.. glad I got here early since there is a line out the door by 12:30pm. Someone gave me the tip to order "the special", chicken and steak almost stewed together it was so tender. In addition, I got peach salsa which paired perfectly wirh the dish. Hint watch out for the redish colored sala it is very spicy but good. My wife and I stopped here for a coffee before a tour and while my cold brew was simply good/solid (what I was looking for), my wife's creme brulee latte was incredible. With specialty beverages you never know but this place was on point! Thought it was funny the tour guide we had next recommended that creme brulee beverage. Locals know. We decided after playing tourist for the morning, we'd go back for lunch and the burrito part of the joint was kicking it! Think of locally owned and run with pride Chip*tle but done right (usuals like fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, etc) and to the Max with twice the offerings (authentic hard taco shells, grilled mahi, both peach and pineapple salsas, and more). I liked Java Burrito Company. Very cute establishment. Stopped in after a community lecture. They have hh daily from 3-6pm and it includes margaritas and other libations. They have some limited outdoor seating, bistro like. The cafe is in the front, there is seating upstairs as well as downstairs. You can actually rent out their downstairs space. Keep walking to the back and that's where you can find the restaurant. In the far back there is also seating, with more privacy and a television. The burrito was actually pretty tasty and absolutely filling. The margaritas are great too. After eating this meal I went home and went to sleep fast. Also, whatever you do don't skip the chips. Best chips I have had by far. Only tip I would give is to use clean to wipe the tables down. Dirty rags definitely leave a stench. read more

My husband went to the Hilton Head location last year and raved about it for months. He LOVES the burritos which seem to be set up Chipotle build your own style but breakfast. He brought home some coffee beans and it was great. I went for a latte, tried their honey lavender lattes (both syrups were housemate) and became hooked. Super clean, lots of parking in the area (metered and parking lot), right on the edge of a shopping district. Great location. This review is loooooong overdue but at the time of our trip to Savannah this location of Java Burrito Company didn't have their own Yelp page so I am thrilled that they finally do so I can give them the well deserved credit they deserve!! We stayed here back in June and this place was a lifesaver as it was right down the street from our VRBO that we stayed at. When we first swung in jet-lagged and exhausted we were greeted with such southern hospitality that we knew we'd be back. We came back every, single, day of our vacation. We tried like half of the menu for coffee and food and literally nothing was disappointing. Everything ran like a well oiled machine, the vibe in this place is so fun and I cannot stress enough how you HAVE to visit here! We were so surprised when we were chatting with the bartenders on our last day to find out they had only been open for a month or less, it seemed like they had been running for years! Everyone was so friendly, the drinks and food were off the charts and everything was so reasonably priced. Our only regret is not making it to the Capital Bee Company across the street before our trip was over. The coffee they had with the honey from Capital Bee was off the charts. 100/10 please do yourself a favor and pay this place a visit. You'll thank me later. Java burrito company has a really good creme brulee latte iced coffee. Their prices are not as expensive as other well known coffee spots. They have a happy hour with all cocktails for $5 and goes from 4-6pm in the week and all day Sunday. Their margarita is really good and does contain alcohol in the happy hour drinks. They dont lessen just because its $5. The locals say that their bloody Mary's are 10/10. The service of the bar and the staff was exceptional! Offering recommendations with menu items they love. JAVA burrito is very clean and with clean bathrooms. The coffee ship has a very welcoming atmosphere and makes you feel calm. read more

We stayed nearby and was excited to get a bowl which we thought would be like Chipotle. We ordered via uber eats to our hotel. Delivery was fairly quick but both of our bowls were disgusting. I am a vegan and ordered impossible "meat" It looked and smelled like dog food. It wasn't even chopped up. It was barely cooked and stringy. The rice in both bowls was lumpy and soggy like it was sitting around for days. My husband eats anything but threw this in the garbage!! My bowl had an avocado stem/seed and almost broke my tooth. I've been several times now and wanted to try a few different things before I reviewed. First, Savannah needed this. Second, definitely go one night just for a drink and get to know the bartenders or bar manager(s). The entire staff is so nice and accommodating. The margaritas are fantastic and they can make anything you want. They also have great happy hour specials! I've never been for dinner. I've been for lunch to pick up and to eat in and everything is always very tasty. They are working their butts off in this place. Whatever you order will be good. I am a chip hog so I'd appreciate if they included more chips but honestly they're doing me a favor. Their guacamole is really delicious. I like mine with more onion but the flavor is on point. Great breakfast spot! I had a breakfast bowl with potatoes and eggs. The others in my group opted for breakfast burritos. Everything was fresh and made right there in front of you. We also tried the Crème Brûlée Latte and Mexican Mocha. I had the Mocha and didn't care for it unfortunately. Not much flavor and couldn't even tell there was coffee in it. But rave reviews from the others in my group about the crème brûlée latte. It was definitely clean and staff was friendly. Bathrooms were also clean so that's always a plus. They also serve breakfast and have coffee and cocktails available (which are both so good!) and their happy hour is one of the best!
