Stopped in on our way to Minneapolis. Met a friend for a hot beverage and bakery. It's a small building, previously a home that has been repurposed and remodeled into a coffee shop. A white sided single floor with a couple of signs that let you know where they are. Plenty of parking out front. It was mid morning on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. There were several other small groups inside. The interior is bright and cheerful. Got a friendly greeting as we gave our orders. I got a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), along with a Morning Bun. Got the drink in a mug and the pastry heated up. The London Fog was good but not great. It was a little weak and could have used more steeping. It was also warm but not hot. The Morning Bun was delicious. Lots of cinnamon and great texture. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The noise level was a little loud but still let us have a casual conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would stop back next time I am in the neighborhood. I'd be sure to emphasize the steeping and temperature for the London Fog.

Visited for the first time this week for lunch and to work for a few hours. My cold brew was super delicious (I had it black) and so was the cheddar chive scone, which they warmed up for me which was nice. I also ordered the chicken salad sandwich special of the month which was an apple walnut panini that was delicious. It came with a side of applesauce or chips and I chose the applesauce. Both are individual servings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was cute and I really liked the local art displayed for sale on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor area looked nice as well, but it was too hot to be out there and I'm not sure how far the WiFi runs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It did work well inside, and there were enough power outlets for us to work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was a bit sleepy and a different soundtrack would have made the experience better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking lot is a bit small but there is parking across the street if needed.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes in here are 10/10.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of seating and natural light and the tables and chairs are big so there is lots of room to work (which I love!!).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The breakfast wrap had fresh veggies and was very cheesy! It took awhile to come out but was worth the wait :)

Always the best service and drinks/food. They even sell beer :) [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location used to be on Monona Dr but is now here in this quaint shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer breakfast and lunch, also ice cream! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A wonderful place to relax or meet friends and clients.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We are still getting use to them being in a new location. I know. I know. It's been a while now. Same great quality food and drinks and service. We ordered coffees (hot and iced). There was something exceptional about the breakfast English muffin sandwich. Not sure what magic was used. Yum! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their chairs are wonderful and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music selection playing was nostalgic and perfect for a Saturday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Java Cat doesn't age and is just as good as my first visit over a decade ago.

I stopped on a Saturday afternoon for a quick coffee. I went for chai frappe. It was a cold drink. I actually ordered thinking it was hot. The drink was ok. But next time I will go for a hot drink rather. I also had a 2 scoop gelato - pistachio Sicilia and caramel cashew. It was ok as well. Cashews got a bit soggy in the gelato.

Inside: more seating not shown. Store is shapes in an "L" shape. (I used AI to remove customers for their privacy)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I am always looking for coffee shops that have good coffee, relaxing ambiance, and roomy seating![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Found one! Family owned and offers a great variety of coffee, teas, etc. Prices are average. Also offers baked goods, breakfast items and ice cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating and cute decor![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely return!

Cold brew with cold foam 3 minutes after order. Can't really call this cold foam.

People were kind but it's the worst coffee I've ordered from a cafe before. And I go to a lot of different cafes and am not super picky typically.

The space has an awesome ambiance--bright, inviting, and comfortable--with plenty of seating whether you're looking to knock out some work, catch up with friends, or just relax in the cozy lounge area. I also loved the unique selection of both coffee and craft beer, making it the kind of place you could visit any time of day. It's not your typical coffee shop, and that's what makes it stand out. Great atmosphere, great people, and a menu that's worth exploring. I'll definitely be back!

They threatened legal action if I shared what I experienced. The email that I'm still speechless about they directly insinuated i have mental health issues - all bc I asked to speak to a manager about something that was making me uncomfortable and would make anyone uncomfortable. This entire email is the clearest example of destructive gaslighting i have ever see. I have never spoken a word to them about my personal life, I have never said a word about 'metal health issues. I was not given any opportunity to speak or defend myself. They made sure i wasnt called only emailed to control their narrative of me. I made the decision to never come back days ago. I go almost every day. I am unbelievably nice. I dont say anything besides my order and small friendly talk. I say thank you every time i get my drink and smile. I am not someone that would randomly make things up. I explained a situation that happened 5 months ago but as you can see in the email they've apparently 'looked at all the footage' and have made their conclusion in less than a day. There's no way you can go over 8 months of footage in less than a day. There's no way to make an accurate fair conclusion in less than a day. As you can see in their response they accused me of trying to make employees look bad. Here was the incident: I came out of the exit door to the bathroom and two employees had been so close to the door that I hit them by accident. I asked 'can I help you?' And they ran away. Even then I didn't say anything. It was invasive, inappropriate, and incredibly rude. I should have said something as anyone would but I didn't. Somehow I knew this would happen if I said a word. They usually have one or two at the front and are very often alone but bc the employees didn't see anything that means I'm lying. Make that make sense Their false accusations and threats of taking legal action is laughable. They even had the balls to give me the number of a mental health line. It is absolutely despicable and condescending. It's hilarious to me that they set these rules and conclusions that I must follow as if not following it is doing something illegal. I'm not an idiot. I feel so sad for people that are actually like this bc it only shows how many issues they have and how unhappy they are. It shows the type of people they are and their morals and values and indifference. To know a collective group of people, a well known and popular coffee shop, handles a customer telling them something is making them uncomfortable is in reality the direct opposite of how establishments are as a norm. It makes me very concerned for customers. Lastly The email written to me said how'd they they don't have cameras in the bathroom or stalls so they don't know if anything happened. The incident was not inside the bathroom and stalls. I said that many times and made clear. They lied to make me look even worse. The moral of the story is don't speak up when you feel uncomfortable bc it's your fault you feel that way. Keep spreading that message my friends. I was told it was inappropriate to contact any employees or go into the store as if I had already done something or was going to. I do not behave in that way nor have I ever.. I dont have any contact info for any of them. Ive never seen any of them outside the coffee shop or spoken to them. I don't even know their names.. The emails are not in order - yelp has been mixing them up when I put them in order. Sorry about that

Pistachio one was my favorite. There were many Asian ice creams. Propitious mango was a good one. There were a lot of small food places in the food hall. I tried food from a lot of different places. The food hall had a lot of seats, and was neatly maintained. It was never crowded. Kawasaki is close to the entry of Global Market. So the first time I was there, I went straight to this place. I had a Chicken katsu rice bowl. It was one of the best food I had in the food hall. Display had some very delicious and cute cakes. Next time I should try some of that. Taiwan Street has nice pho and bubble tea. I went for a pistachio milk shake, without bubbles. It was good. But I think I should have really went for a pho. They have a lots of sweets in display. I went for a peach swiss roll and a sesame ball. Both were good. From Dumpling House, I went for a chicken and mushroom dumpling and chinese chive pie. Both were good . It came steaming hot. I think I should have gone for some of their more favorite items like chive and pork dumpling. From Nice Flavor Stir Fry , I went for a sauteed sliced lamb with cumin. Generally this is a really flavorful dish which you cannot go wrong with. But it wasn't as good as I expected. Flavors were off, and the quality fo meat was not as good as I expected. Stir fry chicken mei fun was my favorite item from Bowl Bowl Rice. It came hot and was flavorful. I also had a tea leaf flavor egg. It was just $1. But it came with egg shell. I had to peel it. Egg was slightly less flavorful than I expected. Mochi donut is the main item in Glazed. There were some food items as well, but I didn't find takers for that. I went for 3 donuts - Oreo, honey dew and churro. The flavors were all interesting. May be oreo was my favorite. Donut texture was more chewy. From S&B Hmong Kitchen, I went for a fried rice from this place. It was flavorful. Cilantro and scallion on top gave a nice flavor kick. From Poké Mì, I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.
