I was very disappointed in the Terimayo burger I ordered here. I heard a lot of good reviews about this place. This place is ran by Japanese people. I had went to Japan before and because I am from Vancouver, I have been spoiled with good Japanese food. Javadotcup only opens weekday and Saturday. They closes quite early at 5 pm each day. Unfortunately, I work till 5 pm on weekdays and I am usually not around in PR on Saturday so it is very difficult for me to give this place a try. I finally got the opportunity and was so excited but then disappointment came after I took my first bite. The Terimayo burger I got was very salty. It was also soggy. Because of the amount of sauce they put on the steamed chicken, it made the bun soggy at the same time. Portion size was small and for the price I paid it was not worth it. So I think they first steamed the chicken with the Terimayo sauce. The burger was somewhat gross. I have had better Terimayo burger before. None of it tasted like what Javadotcup made. I suggest if you want good Japanese food go to Opa or Fukusaku. read more

The food here is excellent. I was surprised by how fresh everything was. We ordered the Karaage chicken. It was crispy, juicy and served with Matcha salt. I also tried the Java Malaysian curry. The spices blended perfectly with the mild coconut accent of the curry. I can't wait to try other dishes on the menu read more

Coffee is good & the staff super nice. Wi-Fi & comfortable seating. Food smells great but I haven't tried it yet though I will one day. Much better than any other coffee shop in prince Rupert by far. Great place to relax and read. read more
