I've never posted a review before, but Java's Brewin' warrants one. We drive 30 minutes to get to this café. It's everything a coffee shop should be - great coffee, wonderful pastries, tasty sandwiches, gluten free options, large portions, reasonable prices, comfortable ambiance, and music on first Fridays. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The coffee is fantastic always, no matter what variation we throw at them. Haha. They can make literally anything it seems, every employee is a pro! They also offer smoothies ( which my boyfriend loves when he gets on his health kicks) and they have always been a delicious win too. And the food! From savory to sweets and great portions, we have never had a bad meal here and we usually try to go a few times a month. The atmosphere has an awesome quaint coffee shop vibe that's kind of like a hug... Not stale or cold like other coffee shops I've been in. There muffins are soft and huge. Enough for two people easy. There lattes are the best around. My personal favorite is the lavender latte and this is one of the few places that actually have that one year round. I've seen how I think is the opener or manager give free coffee to a construction worker and a cop which is a nice gesture. The girls behind the counter are so nice and always give the best service. I've seen them be very patient with particularly annoying and rude people. Best place to go to grab a quick golfee latte or small bite on the go. read more

Honestly, I'm not sure which was better - the friendliness of the staff, or the quality of the food and drinks. Julie and Rachel were both delightful. I had a million questions and Rachel answered every single one without hesitation. I got a chance to try the Green Giant smoothie-- oh my goodness it is delicious. I'm typically not one for anything kale, but this was outstanding. My raspberry mocha was on point, probably the best I've had in awhile. Oh, and then there's the chocolate chip raspberry muffin... Amazing! I don't even have words for it. It was a little lighter consistency of your typical muffin, which I will never complain about, plus it was chock full of whole raspberries and chocolate chips... just the right amount of each!! I got the apple walnut honey chicken salad which smells amazing and I can't wait to dig into it for lunch!!! I will absolutely be returning to this gem again VERY soon! read more

I stopped at Java's Brewin for the first time today after hiking on the Perkiomen Trail and had a wonderful experience! Very friendly owner/staff, great coffee, and delicious chocolate chip cookies. Okay, hear me out, please. I'm going to be brutally honest. We came in on a Saturday, early lunchtime. We both had basic coffee, it was okay, my husband had a muffin, he enjoyed it very much, although it was pretty dry, like maybe day-old? I had a panini (Turkey called something Lisa). It was really, really awful. Also in the basket were crushed potato chip crumbs (I had maybe two full chips), and a warm, limp pickle. The panini had panini pressed dry toasted bread, but everything inside the sandwich was cold. The thick slices of cold turkey were so tough I couldn't bite through it. It was similar to leftover thanksgiving turkey. And COLD. Would be much better with deli style thin sliced turkey, butter on the outside of the bread before pressing, and leaving it in the panini press long enough to let the inside stuff get warm and the cheese melt. The combination of ingredients (besides the turkey) is great, I really was looking forward to eating it, but it really disappointed me. The muffin and standard coffee fully deserve the three stars, but I can't go any higher because of that greatly disappointing panini. Atmosphere was friendly, could definitely be cleaner, and the tables were packed a little tightly. A larger party had pushed three tables together beside us, pinning us in our cramped corner. As soon as the one on the end stepped away for a moment, we made a run for one of the sofas. It was kind of an uncomfortable first visit. We plan to give it another try at some point, hopefully at a slower time. I really wanted to love this place, which is why I'm going to try it again, and order different stuff. read more

Have only been here a few times and each time was for coffee only. The fact that this place is not on my typical commute route and they require a $10 minimum charge to use a credit card, I don't come here often. I do like their coffee here and while they do offer food, it's not something I can comment on. As for coffee flavors, they do have quite a few flavored syrups to pick from. Customer service was quite friendly and if you are looking for a place to sit and hang out with some friends, this place can accommodate that, although it's not a very big place. Stopped in on my way to work, terrible customer service. Girl behind the counter was more interested in her phone than helping me. Coffee was decent, but the setup is counterintuitive. Had to wander around to find the milk/sugar station and then found only creamer, no milk of any sort. Obviously, no offer of help from the teen behind the counter. I frequently visit the Billerica, MA location of Java's Brewin', which, up until recently, I thought was the last surviving location. I visited this one while passing through Pennsylvania on a road trip, and was blown away by the hospitality and food quality! The manager and staff treated us like old friends. And the food (particularly the muffins, biscotti, and caramel toffee coffee) were all hot, fresh, and outstanding. I absolutely recommend this place. I've never had a bad time at Java's. I go there whenever i'm in the area to get a wrap and a good coffee, and the owner loves to talk and get to know customers. I always get their spinach wraps because they're super healthy and fill me up nice. The coffee is the best part though; no matter how much i mix it up, they always are able to get me a great coffee and a perfect taste. Not only that, but the atmosphere is amazing and i can get tons of work done while i'm there. it's a perfect place for me to work out group projects or even work on assignments by myself. read more

The first thing I notices about this place was the customer service. All the people working were very friendly and helpful. My group of four asked a ton of questions which they never made us feel like we were a bother to them. The place This is a cute coffee shop the only problem is it is tiny. If you are sitting at the bar you have tables right behind you. They are so close you have to be very careful backing your chair up to get up. No matter where you sit you have people on top of you. So if you don't like closed quarters you won't like this place. Everything was very clean and colorful they did a nice job making it look nice and feel welcoming other than the size. The food We ordered a variety of breakfast sandwhiches, latte's and coffee between my group. I had a basic bacon,egg and chesse on a whole wheat wrap. So they have a lot of options to make things to your liking. My friend ordered Julie's Breakfast Sandwich which he really liked he said it had great flavor. My wife and I have a latte's my only complaint which is common now in alot of coffee shops is they put too much syrup in it so it was hard to taste the coffee. So I will next time to ask for half sweet! So all in all this is a place I really need hope to try again next time I am in the area. I set out to meet up with a group to go cycling. Java's Brewin was the place to meet. The staff was extremely friendly. I ordered a dark roast coffee and it was spectacular served in a mug. When the ride was over I had another mug of coffee and a roast beef cheddar Panini and it was fantastic. One of my favorite breakfast spots!! Family owned and they have the nicest employees and best food! The 3 cheese quesadilla is my favorite and the cinnamon crumb cake chocolate chip muffin ( not sure what exactly they call it) was one of the best muffins I've ever had. The smoothies are made with real fruit and you can customize them and pick what fruits go in yours, the green giant smoothie was surprisingly really good along with the pineapple mango!!
