He also added another layer of decomposed granite (DG) to the whole yard. I woke up one morning with my water running into the street which I can only assume came from my…read morepoorly working sprinklers that had been running since they were timed to come on 2 hours prior. Checking my meter, I had used twice the amount of water in one day that I had used in the previous month! This is AFTER having 2 different sprinklers professionals (one found here, and one recommended by a friend) evaluate my sprinklers, and having a weekly gardener who comes and services the lawn and cares for the sprinklers. To say I was livid, is an understatement. I found Jorge Romero on yelp and called him right away. He was able to come that same day and spent half the day here evaluating my sprinkler system. He and his employee were able to come up with such an easy solution to update my system and sprinkler heads. The first person I had come quoted me $4K to update my system, which is lubricous on an already installed system. Jorge was also able to get one of his other employees to evaluate each sprinkler that same day. We came up with a plan, and within a few days, we fixed my issues as well as addressed my desire to prep my yard for additional sod. I loved that he is very communicative and quick to respond to calls and/or text with any further questions. I also appreciate that he seems like an honest and straighforward man who I look forward to working with further.
