I've been going to this place since I was a little girl, so I'm going to preface this review by saying that it may be tainted with years of childhood memories. That being said, I really like this place! They have the best ham and cheese croissants I've ever had (I still don't really know what kind of cheese they use, but it's so much better than the unfortunate ham and cream cheese/cheese Wiz croissants I've had in the past), and they have a fairly large selection of freshly baked donuts and drinks. Picked up some donuts after we stop by Bad Ass coffee in the same shopping center. $10 for a dozen donuts!!! isnt that crazy?? We maybe buy a dozen donuts twice a year and dont remember other places being that high. We did get one large chocolate chip donut bun looking thing, they said it would be 50 cents more. That was the best thing by a long shot. The donuts have a weird looking frosting on them and looks really dried out or old but it didnt taste to bad. The inside of the donuts seemed pretty fresh. I doubt we will go back and order a dozen donuts from here again but we would go back to get that chocolate chip thing. read more

This place has revived my donut addiction. Anyone who knows me, knows I have always loved (and wanted to own a) Dunkin Donuts. Sadly, there are none in Southern California. Jax has tastier donuts than my hometown favorite -- they're bigger and better (and never stale!). I don't see a problem with their donut selection since they always have boston creme, glazed, maple... and my husband's favorites apple, twist, and old fashioned glaze. These are probably the best donuts around the Rancho Cucamonga area. The dough is very fluffy and dense, there is actually a lot of substance to the middle of the donut. The maple bars are my favorite. When you bite in to them they are not empty in the middle like some donut shops. The only downside to this place is the customer service. They can be rude sometimes. I have been going to Jax Donuts on Kenyon Way in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. for years now. On 6/13/19, i bought a dozen donuts, the Asian woman was very rude as always. The most upsetting part is the fact that she sneezed on my donuts while placing them in the box, and lied about it, she did not even turn away her head when she sneezed and lied about it, too. She sneezed right on the Donut box. I was very upset with her actions for not covering her mouth or turning away when she sneezed, her arrogant attitude, and her lying to my face. No apologies from her, either. I told her that my 4 year old grandson will bee eating the donuts and I don't want him to catch any kind of disease.She got upset I caught her lying. She agreed to change the box of donuts, but was arrogantly reaching for the different kinds of donuts and placing them in the box without asking me which one's I like. Who knows how the people of Jax Donuts are treating those Donuts when no customer is looking. They all could be sneezing on those donuts for all these years. I am reporting them to the Department of Health. To the customers of Jax Donuts, there are so many diseases going on - this incident should not be taken for granted. The owner/s and people at Jax Donuts on Kenyon Way Rancho Cucamonga, CA. are so ungrateful to customers of many years not realizing they are still in business because of us. Arrived at about 9:15 am on a Saturday. Waited in line for about 15 minutes. They had no ham and cheese croissants and no regular cake donuts. Their selection was completely wiped out. Worst experience at a donut place I've ever been too. After learning about the limited selection, the staff didn't even mention they had fresh donuts coming out. Very poor quality and choices. If you want anything decent, get here early! They obviously only make one sad batch of rounds per day. The saddest part is they close at 5PM!!! I have never ordered donuts from here, but they smell and look fantastic. I have eaten the muffins and those are pretty delicious though a little doughy and heavy. The banana but and bran raisin muffins are the top ones. But do go early because the muffins sell out very quickly. read more

I purchased donuts around 7:30 am on a Saturday morning. The donuts weren't very good, especially the round chocolate donuts. They were dry and seemed like they were from the night before. I was very disappointed. In addition, I needed some change so I gave more than the amount then waited for my change when the lady basically dismissed me by saying: "Thank you" and taking the remaining amount as an involuntary tip. Went into Jax this morning before school, asked for a ham and cheese with jalapeno. she had to cut it in half and add the jalapenos to it.. no problem except for she didn't wash your hands and she insisted on taking my money before cutting into the croissant. I was watching her very closely and she did not wash her hands after she touched currency that is just disgusting I called her and let her know that I wasn't happy about what I had seen. I was skeptical of this place after seeing the reviews but decided to give it a try this morning. It was actually really good! Thy had a full stock of various donuts, egg sandwiches, muffins and more in the front display. I ordered the raisin bran muffin which was HUGE and delicious. It was crispy on the outside and soft and dense on the inside. The workers are a couple of nice Chinese ladies that were pretty helpful and welcoming. Definitely will be going here again. read more

The donuts here are top notch. Get here early because they make them up fresh and when they're gone, they close for the day. I pick them up for church lunches and everyone at church in Altadena raves and begs me to bring them again. Our church members hail from Laguna Niguel to Ventura and all the way out here to Rancho Cucamonga, but nobody has found better donuts. read more
