Dropping by on our way back home to NorCal, we decided to stop at Moms Donut Shop and grab some treats. Ordered some donuts for our boys and a couple croissant sandwiches, and everything was fresh and delicious. The donuts were soft, the sandwiches hit the spot, and the service was friendly too. Came here on a limb because upland donuts was closed for some reason. Glad I did because the donuts were fire. Ordered a dozen assorted donuts and I promise you each and every one of them were delicious, especially the glaze twist and cream and jelly filled ones. Don't know what they put in their dough but the donuts were super soft and had great textures. Service was excellent on top of that, the man even added 3 more donuts for me. Thank you kind sir. I'm from Seattle so I take my coffee very seriously. i'm so happy that I went here and not waste my time at Denny's or some ugly fast food chain. Their donuts dough has the perfect balance of soft and chewy. Best donut holes and glazed for me around 5 mile radius. It's addicting so beware. The male owner is always nice and pleasant. Their 2 star deduction comes from one morning where we ordered ham and cheese that took almost 15 minutes. We ended being late for school. My son ordered it while I wait in my car parked just where I can see inside the shop. I noticed a handful of people came in and out, after my son ordered. More than 10 minutes later I I went in to follow up. The female owner was just handing the food to my son. When I asked her why it took sooo long, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "well, I still need to warm it up, here's a free donut" When we opens the sand which in the car, the croissant is burnt, the ham&cheese are dry hence very salty. I found Mom's Donuts this past weekend and it was a great experience! As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted and recommended their best selling options. After I ordered and got my food, I was very happy with how large the portions were. The croissant was giant and tasted great. This is a family owned business and it feels like home. I'm from Chicago and this spot reminds me of the family friendly local bakeries near my pad. Every lady in there reminds me of that one aunty who spoils you. Picked up a dozen donuts yesterday, they were so fresh and good. I first had donuts from here at my church on Sundays I asked where they get their donuts from I was told Mom's donuts, these donuts are probably the best donuts I've had. I just moved to Rancho and immediately looked for a good donut shop. I am a bit of a donut snob. I very much like Mom's donut as they are always fresh and she does not over use her frying oil. You can tell when a donut shop is trying to save money by overusing the cooking oil but not Jackie at Mom's Donuts. They make GREAT Croissant sandwiches too. My favorite is the Turkey and avocado.
