I like this location for convenience, it's a little smaller than the one on Rochester Rd; but it's perfect for getting a quick wash. I've never had any issues with the quality of the wash, or the number of staff working - even on a weekend. If you are looking for a convenient and consistent car wash, this is a good option. We have the monthly membership, which is great if you wash your car frequently. Your membership is good at other Jax locations as well. My favorite thing about Jax is that they actually clean / replace their brushes in the car wash. I have never had any issues with swirl marks on my paint after many months of getting our cars washed at Jax. This was an issue - especially in the winter - at other competitors. In all honesty, if I pay $10-$20 for a car wash I'd expect my car to be totally clean with no remnants of bug juice or dirt left anywhere in the body of my car. Unfortunately I'm disappointed that my car wasn't that clean after a recent basic car wash. When I got home directly from a recent trip here, I took a sponge and clean rag to clean several spots in both my lift gate as well as the hood and grille of my SUV. Im not expecting perfection but I do expect not to have to wipe away spots that just weren't clean by Jax car wash. read more

Customer service? What's that? I went for a car wash at the beginning of December, and while waiting I was talked into getting a monthly car wash membership that I was hesitant on, but was talked into it by a rep who said I would only be charged for the month of December. I receive company car leases through Nissan, and so starting in January I have a different car than I did in December (hence why I agreed to a one month membership). I was charged today for the month of January, when I was promised it would not be a recurring charge. I called, and the woman who answered the call was extremely defensive from the beginning. She stated she didn't have the ability to refund me for a charge on a car I no longer have, I tried to explain, she called ME rude, and basically hung up the phone telling me she couldn't do anything. If it weren't for the location I wouldn't come here. Unlimited club, but never scans my plate so manual intervention required. Lines too long. Have had wash break down on me twice, where I was stuck inside too long. Today a worker let through someone in front of me (bypassing line) after I waited and got manual intervention. Aside from the fact that the car is only marginally cleaner coming out than going in, If your car is damaged by the wash, expect a response of "sorry about your luck, and not much else. Lots of other car washes out there that do a better job cleaning and maintain their equipment properly. I recommend finding one! Edit: The canned response may make it sound like Jax cares to hear more, but I've already spoken with someone who identified himself as the regional manager. First of all, I would like to say that not all Jax Kar Wash locations are terrible. However this location, and the location on Rochester Rd, are horribly ran. Every time I come to this location, I am met with problems. The employees are very inattentive, never to be found when you need help. I have had to yell for help multiple times after waiting over 2 minutes after repeatedly hitting the help button on the screen. However, I did have a "great" experience with two of the young ladies who work at this location. As I gently pulled up to the gate, the two girls chuckled to one another and said something along the lines of me driving up so fast and asking what the rush was. I am considering cancelling my membership at this point. The lines are always ridiculously long, waiting about 1/2 an hour to get a car wash everyday. Waste of time and money. read more

I paid for a 14 dollar wash. Made contact with the attendant told him there was something on my front quarter panel that was sticky and didn't come off last time my vehicle was washed. Attendant didn't even look at the area I was informing him about or tell the other attendant who was spraying my vehicle. Went through the wash and of course the sticky substance was still on the vehicle. I went back and spoke to a person from management. Told him of the situation and he said he was the one that sprayed the vehicle down with the sprayer and it was really caked on but he would wash it again no charge. On washing it a second time substance has come off a bit but still very noticeable. I chose not to go back through again as I was pretty confident they wouldn't be able to remove the substance. read more

Overpriced, has become so corporate. The helpful mirror to see if wheels are lined up has been removed for advertising. Put up ridiculous TVs to advertise, if it weren't so wasteful I'd take more joy in watching the TVs constantly be broken. Profit does not need to be squeezed out of everything. Car never is clean. If you mention the issue with the wash they say you should upgrade to a better wash. So basically is what they are saying if you pay $10 for a car wash it's going to be a sub par job. Save your money and go to Mr. C's. read more

I just started my car wash. I just got a new car and wanted a place where I don't have to worry about swirls in the paint. My one minor complaint or mention is if they had a belt instead of rollers. My rims on my Mazda wouldn't have black markings from the side rails rubbing on them. The quality of the wash and hand drying is great. Vacuum area is small and a bit hard to access therefore 4 stars. I enjoy also not having to put a sticker on my window. It's all done by license plate! I do recommend this place! read more

Excellent location! The team is sooo nice and professional AND they seem to care about making sure every customer is satisfied. I park at home under a tree that drops berries in my truck and every time I get it washed they will hand scrub them off. It takes extra time and attention and I appreciate it so much. I was refused / turned away from being serviced at this location.  I pulled up and before I was able to go into the wash, the attendant, walked up to me and said, "Because you have a Dodge Ram, we need you to sign a Vehicle Waiver before we can provide you service".  He went on to say, "We had a dodge Ram come into the wash and their Side mirror was damaged so as a result, we must make you sign this waiver to protect us, in case your side mirror is broken".  The manager of the store came up and confirmed what was said.  I read the waiver, took a copy and pointed out to them, the waiver said nothing about side mirrors, but it said "Jax Kar Wash, it's agents, contractors, and employees shall not be responsible for damage to my vehicle incurred in the course of washing, or while being driven by one of our agents".  I pointed this out to the manager, I explained to them I am a Club member and have been a member for years.  I explained to them, the waiver didn't explain or identify, "Just Mirrors" and said again, "I'm a club member and will not be held to anything more than what I have already agreed to on my current contract". I could understand the waiver, but it didn't explain the purpose.  I've paid my membership and have always paid it on time.  I use my membership very often and need my truck washed when I come there.  On the March 22, 2022, I was turned away. I was told by the manager; I should drive across town and try the Rochester Hills Location.  I said to the manager, "why would it be any different over there? Isn't that the same company"?  I got no response about that question and at that moment, I felt discriminated against. I'm a black American and with what is going on today regarding race, I would hope I wasn't being singled out, but that is what I felt (it didn't feel good).  I find it mighty strange; I have a contract that explains what the company is or isn't responsible for but I'm being asked to sign a waiver that has nothing to do with what they wanted it signed for.  Then to make matters worse, you tell me I can go to another Jax car wash to be serviced?  I would think as a company, if there is a problem with a particular truck or car, all locations would have the same requirement.  Also, if this requirement was being supported by the company, it should have been posted on our membership, letting us know of the change.  I'm irritated and offended that I've been treated like this, and I feel disrespected by this company.  I was turned away from service when I pay my fee for 2 vehicles. read more

I just recently started using this location. I'm a member of the Unlimited Club and this new location is closer to me. They do a great job and although busy, they get you in and out quickly while maintaining a high quality service. It is an exterior only location but that's all I need. read more

Worst service ever. Used to be a regular customer at this location but never again. Front of my car was still just as dirty. They did a half ass job drying the car when I got home there was enough water that I was able to get a full size towel completely wet. The car was ripped a piece of trim off the car and they just shoved it back in without making sure it was lined up right and in Its clips so when I drove off I was less than a block away when it came back off the car. So I took it to the dealership and they attached it properly for me but informed me since it wasn't lined up right when the shoved it back In so one of the clips did get snapped off. The manager just made excuse after excuse why there was water all over my car and about the trim. read more

I have been critical of Jax's in the past but things from my perspective have changed. I will be saying the same about Rochester but sine I just came from the Walton road location. I will say their team their is great! Polite and hard working. It's a tough job getting people to car about a result and the management has done a great job of doing this the team members see to care and not just go through the motions. I live on dirt roads, that is why I became a member of this car wash. My car has never come out clean. They spend as little time as possible spraying it off regardless if they are busy or not. I will have mud dripping from the car when I park it. Wheels are never clean. Is it management or personal? I used their tire shine-big mistake! Tires look awful. IDK. I keep hoping for improvement, if not I will drop out. read more
