Believe it or not Jax is the best value if you want your car to not only look clean but there process seems to do a lot less damage to the paint. I have been washing my 2017 vehicle 1.5 times a week since I bought it and non of the fine scratch's are a pearling yet. I have had the "unlimited membership" for maybe over 10 years and always enjoyed going there. The people there were always and still are all wonderful, helpful, friendly and the establishment is lucky to have them. What has changed recently is the equipment. I think it is getting old and the gates do not function or work timely. Every time I go there now, I have to wait for a while and an attendant has to help. It is my understanding that they were sold to a new buyer. Perhaps the new buyer needs to update the equipment. I am starting to look for another car washing place instead of Jax due to the equipment age and the delay that is causing. read more

We joined the monthly club to get the interior cleaned. Probably the worst interior clean we have ever had.

So I have been going here for years, a member of the unlimited club and always tip. The quality of service has been consistently declining. The newer employees are so unprofessional and disrespectful it's just insane. I will be canceling my membership and I will never return. read more

My husband and prefer and like the Jax car washed out of all others. This is a bigger and slightly nicer location. I can't imagine the traffic if there's ever a line here. Jax as a whole does a better wash than most. I still end up with a few residual spots, but it's better than most. read more

Love Jax! Only issue is the full detail isn't available at the West Bloomfield location right now. I literally live off the corner and don't want to drive across town. I know hiring is rough right now, so hopefully soon. Also wish they opened at 715a I like hitting the wash before my day starts but can't do it most days due to a 730a open. The competitor opens at 7a, soo just saying! The employees are always nice to me though, with the exception of the heavy set black manager. Always rude to me when I need something. I have a membership and frequent the wash no less than 3 times a week in the winter and almost daily in the summer. It's a great value. read more

I went to the Jack's car wash on 12 & Orchard Lake I got the $22 exterior plus optimum whatever they call it and when I left my car was still dirty. My bumper was dirty. My roof was dirty. I was supposed to get the tire gloss and that was just a few squirts in random places on my tires. Nobody buffed it out or rubbed it around. The kids didn't care about drying my car and they had to have seen the dirt on my bumper and completely avoided it. I gave them a nice tip and now I wish I didn't and I wish I didn't go there. What a scam and a rip off. If I could give it negative stars I would I cannot believe $22 to come out with a dirty car.!!!! read more

went to get my truck cleaned today because I was in the area and had time to kill before an appointment. First you can't get the interior cleaned without being a Club member which is crazy. which was the whole reason I went there. second I paid $22 for an up graded wash and it's still dirty. bug guts on the hood, bumper, windshield and the rims are still dirt. After I expressed the voice to my concerns regarding the bugs from a trip I took last weekend and was reassured that they would get them cleaned off. not a great experience. they are always closed. 3 times in the last month they have been closed on a sunny day at 11:30am due to mechanical issues. The lines are always long and the manager claims there's too many cars coming through each day. If that's the case, stop selling unlimited memberships and have a waitlist. read more

Ugh! Me: Hi, do you guys vacuum? Attendant: Yes we do. Me: Can they vacuum my trunk? Attendant: Yes just pop your trunk when you pull in and they will vacuum it. Me: Great! Thank you! Well I did exactly what the guy told me... I wasn't thinking when my car was being finished up, then got back to my office and remembered they were supposed to vacuum my trunk so I checked and.... THEY DID NOT VACUUM MY TRUNK ‍. Come on! The trunk should be standard, ITS PART OF THE CAR! $24 down the tube... my trunk was the only reason I had my car washed today! On top of that, they put my dirty sandy flip flops on the back seat of my car and there were small leaves or something on back seat too. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and am overall pleased. The self service vacuums have great suction and the exterior car wash which is what I usually use are quick and the workers do a quick dry of your vehicle before you drive off. I was there this morning and when I got home, I noticed that there was still a bit of dirt and stuff left on my van. I went back later in the day and asked if I could get my van rewarded because of the dirt left on the van. They were basically happy to make that happen and I got my van rewashed. They did a great job drying my van and it definitely looked better after the second wash. I will continue to come to vacuum out all the crap my kids leave in the van and for quick exterior washes in the future. read more
