This is an excellent experience! Jay Alexander does some amazing close-up magic early in the evening as you enjoy appetizers. You are then led to a smaller theater (holds may 40-50 people at most) where he puts on a funny, entertaining, heart-warming show. He was great with kids (the ones in the audience ranged 7-10) and adults too. Absolutely worth it. I regret that I scoffed at my girlfriend for suggesting it in the first place - she was absolutely right for booking it and our family had a blast! read more

Awesome show! It is a great combo to have the show theater paired with a great middle eastern restaurant upstairs. You first hang out in a seated lounge and can order any food from the restaurant upstairs. Jay comes and do some really cool magic tricks already. You then go to the theater for the actual show. One word: AMAZING!! We saw the show last night and absolutely loved it. He truly is the best magician we've ever seen. We had seen Jay Alexander perform on our cruise a few months ago and when we found out that he was going to have a show in San Francisco, we knew we would go back and see him. The Marrakech Magic Theater is the perfect venue. It's a small, intimate theater where you'll get to enjoy magic, mentalism and comedy. I'd say the theater can hold about 35 people or so, and that's what I think is the best part: everybody is up close and there are no bad seats. Because it's so small, it creates a very intimate atmosphere and quite a few people from the audience will at some point be involved in one of Jay's magic tricks. He's funny and you'll just be amazed at the things he does. You just don't want the show to end! Make sure you'll get there when the doors open, an hour before the show starts, so you can enjoy the pre-show when Jay comes around to all the tables to do card tricks. Also, don't miss the Moroccan appetizers! We have already recommended Jay's show to friends and will continue to do so. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend his show if you want to have a fun, entertaining evening! read more
