The most amazing mind-blowing tricks I've ever seen. I'll share one that was so good it was disturbing... Rubik's cube was randomly spun by a member of the audience. He then picked up another Rubik's cube, spun it behind his back, and the two matched (one in a 43 quintillion combinations). BTW, as a follow-up feat that was equally amazing, he used one-hand to solve his second Rubik's cube with his back to the audience and his cube behind his back -- so we saw the cube miraculously solve in ~20 one-handed spins. Great show! I'm a native San Franciscan and had never heard of Jay's show, but I found it online and my friends and I were very excited about going. We really enjoyed the whole show, but I especially enjoyed his card tricks before the show started. He does his card tricks within inches of each group of people who are there for the show, and yet no one was able to figure out how he did each trick. He made cards move in people's hands, made them disappear (I was right next to him when he did this and I swear he never touched the lady's hand who was holding the card), and made them change suits. Jay himself is extremely funny, witty, charismatic and well, amazing really. I never thought a magic show would be so fun and his acts were jaw dropping. Jay Alexander is a must see!! WOW!! I didn't expect to be so amazed by a magic show, but Jay's show is not typical. This is an experience! I would categorize Jay as a mentalist and illusionist. His tricks are mind blowing. He is very good at what he does and he is a great host, he's funny, personable and quick. The venue is small, so the performance is intimate. Jay interacts with his guests, so you can get involved or not. He greeted us at the door when we first got there, then he took us to our table prior to the show in a reception area outside of the theater where drinks and appetizers are served. We had a couple of drinks, while Jay sat other guests at their tables. He would come in and do some cool card tricks at each of the tables. Well I must say, what an experience. We started with a more intimate card trick show in the restaurant then moved into the small theatre. It was a very small environment. So this guy either has mind reading powers or is the best magician of all time. I've never seen magic in person before, but he blew me away. He was also very funny. I was laughing so hard that my cheeks were sore. It was a nice community experience. There's people there from many backgrounds and age groups. It feels like you're all connected when you share this experience. He did number tricks, mind reading tricks and also ripped up a newspaper and put it back together. All sorts of things that will amaze you. He was also very kind and willing to pose for all pictures and did nice meet and greet.
