We missed him like crazy and worried about how he was feeling. Dennis actually had us come in halfway through, showed us what Carson had been learning, and said something that I keep thinking about: Carson wasn't missing us. Not because he doesn't love us, but because dogs live in the now. He was busy, focused, doing his thing. We felt so much better after that. Carson came home happy and calm and confident. He understood the rules and felt good about it. And he wasn't (as our son put it) a "bot" now - he was the same sweet and goofy pup but now, he could follow instructions and maintain self control when we needed him to. The staff were also straight with us about the fact that he'd have setbacks. That's normal. They spent a lot of time explaining what you do when it happens. In fact, they spent almost an entire day with all the families at graduation - going over what the dogs learned, getting you hands on practicing how to do it, answering questions, and really teaching a ton of helpful information. We're about to set up our in-home training visit, which will be for all of us, including our three kids - really great to get everyone aligned with Carson's training. The Dog Knowledge is fantastic! We are members now and plan to board our dog with them whenever we go on vacation. I cannot imagine trusting any place like we trust them.

I was offered a tour of the facility; everything appeared clean, organized & well planned. Their app with access to camper play areas on video is a wonderful way to check in on your pet. I watched his interaction with other dogs and the staff, as well as other play areas and the staff thoroughly cleaning floors/sections when dogs went outside for a time. I took the tour and liked the size and cleanliness of the overnight kennels and the hours allowed for playtime with other dogs. Both dogs will be tested for compatibility, a rule they have before daycare or overnight stays are allowed. Prices are very reasonable, and I do appreciate the cameras available to watch your pets when they are at play. The baths were done well and both wolves were happy with the outcomes.

We found ourselves in quite the predicament, as he was too young to board at a kennel. We reached out to Doris and she made a special exception to accept him into her board and train program when he was only 10 weeks old... When she dropped him off after the program was complete, we had an 11.5 week old puppy housebroken and sleeping through the night with no crate accidents. What surprised me the most is that he patiently waits for you to open his crate and invite him out, he waits for you to invite him to go through the front the door and also waits in his "place" while you get his food ready. In addition to being such a patient sweet boy, he also knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, shake, spin right, spin left, leave-it, play hide and seek, and stay!! She also introduced him to swimming in her swimming pool and socialized him with multiple safe dogs and people. She was very responsive, professional and kept us posted daily on his progress and adventures. We felt at ease knowing he was in such a loving home. This is truly her passion and it shows through the wonderful work she did with sweet Chewy. We LOVE Doris and can't recommend her enough!
