It's an old school establishment in business since 1920. I don't think that it has been redecorated since they opened, but don't let that frighten you. They serve up home-cooked flavors at reasonable prices. We were invited by Lisa, the owner, who follows us on Facebook, to come do a review. I ordered the 2-egg special with sausage, white toast, home-fried potatoes, and sunny-side-up eggs--plus a refreshing glass of OJ and some ice-cold milk, none of that coffee stuff. Walking in, I immediately felt welcomed, which is something I always appreciate. It's a cash-only spot with an ATM on site. Around here in Pennsyltucky, sunny-side-up eggs are "dippy" eggs, perfect for dipping your toast. My eggs were cooked just right, the toast was perfectly buttered, and the potatoes were crispy outside and soft inside. The hot dog was fine. It was a fried hot dog. I put it a tier below the Nathan's Coney Island dog I had in Coney Island. Never been much of a chili of this variety. There was something nostalgic about the experience. Fries were crispy and shoestring just about. Like a cross between McDonald's and the classic diner fry.
