The billing manager who sits at the receptionist desk sent my bill to an incorrect address (major HIPAA violation). This upset me very much. Additionally, the bill was for an amount in excess of the agreed-upon treatment plan, and there were no details as to what the extra amount was for. In speaking with the billing manager, she promptly hung up on me. I called back to talk with Dr. Rizwan to advise him of the situation. The billing manager sarcastically replied, "He is busy. Oh, don't worry, he will get the message and call you back." Three weeks have passed, and Dr. Rizwan has not returned my call. I believed we had a good dentist-patient relationship. However, I was wrong. It has been three weeks, and I have not received a response to date. I referred people to the Kentlands Dentistry practice, and they will not be returning because of this. Shame on the billing manager who felt so comfortable hanging up on a paying customer and for her very unprofessional manner. I am also disappointed that Dr. Rizwan would allow such an employee to work there and behave in such an unprofessional manner, and that he never returned my call. I thought I had finally found MY dentist. Very disappointing to say the least. Maybe the billing manager was a family member of Dr. Rizwan's, but she was horribly rude and upsetting. A HIPAA violation is taken very seriously and cannot be ignored.

His practice looks like a house from the outside and is beautifully landscaped. It looks very inviting from the outside. Parking can be challenging for those such as myself who can't parallel park well on the street. The inside is very well kept. There is a nice waiting room that has magazines and even toys and books for toddlers. I also like that they have a water cooler. The staff are all friendly, professional, thorough, and adept. When I come in for my bi-annual cleaning I generally get Patricia who is pleasant and makes the time go by. Today I came in to have two fillings for my receding gum. Dr. Glass was thorough in explaining the procedure and said if I experienced any discomfort to let him know, and I did, not too long after he started. He frequently checked to see if I was doing ok. It shows he cares about his patients which I can appreciate. Without any reservation, I highly recommend Dr. Glass.

He and his staff didn't make me feel bad about it and cleaned me up very well. I don't love going to the dentist (I feel like I'm a car at the auto shop), but Dr. Glass is as gentle as they get. I later moved to DC and my insurance changed, so I attempted to find a new local dentist. Well, said dentist removed one of my one fillings and replaced it, because he just felt like it would look nicer. Fast forward a few months and I -swallowed- said filling and frantically called Dr. Glass for an appointment. I was fit in promptly and worked up thoroughly - the tooth was ruined and I would need my first root canal. Dr. Glass smoothed out my tooth in the mean time, referred me to dentist to do the root canal (he was also good, but no Dr. Glass), and then had me back to do a temporary crown as he sent away for a permanent crown to be made. Even if Dr. Glass isn't in network for my new dental insurance (though services are partially covered), even if it's a 45-minute drive out, I'll be going to Dr. Glass, because once you find a good dentist, you don't leave 'em! (lesson learned.)

I read the reviews and there was a supposed promotional discount for cleaning services and exams for $150. I got there in time for my appointment and had my x-rays done. The lady who attended to me acted confident but the x-rays were blurry so it was clear she probably didn't have a hang on the machines. Dr. Chan came and my hopes were high. You see I took the day off so I could give my teeth attention. He explained the x-rays, poked around my mouth as expected but then began to prod with sharp instruments that still has some parts of my gum sore. He gave his prognosis and proceeded to tell me that I don't qualify for regular cleaning but would need deep cleaning. I said , ok...what's the cost and can we go ahead. He then told me he had other patients, that i would come back, went ahead to give me an outrageous quote of almost $3,000. What upset me was that he said since no work would be done on me (Oct 31, 2024) I would only be paying $100 as opposed to the promotional charge of $150 which was to include x-rays and cleaning. I felt ripped off, especially as I drove almost an hour for THIS!!! Why was there no transparency? Don't say you have a promotional discount when you know you will be overcharging for examination/x-rays that could have been done anywhere else!!! I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

I found someone even better, just 5 minutes from my home! Colesville Dentistry is amazing. Their office staff is very friendly, their office is big, bright and clean, with state of the art equipment and both the dentists and dental assistants are all highly skilled, professional and very knowledgeable. I am one to always ask questions because I can't see into my own mouth and I'm curious to know exactly what's going on. The dentists have been patient with me, explaining everything in detail and even taking photos of the procedure so I can have a clear understanding of my dental health. I highly recommend them!
