Bad, not authentic Korean food. The worst I've ever tried. The dishes tasted like Chinese food. The rice was not warm. They couldn't even take the time to heat it up. The chop chae is supposed to be noodles, but mine turned out to be and stir fry of meat mixed with deep fried noodles placed on top of cold rice. This is not Korean food to me. My head was telling me that this place wasn't going to be good the minute we parked, but I was so desperate for some kind of Korean food that I still tried it. Stupid decision. No one who worked there was even Asian. That should have been my first clue.

Great food! One of my favorite places to get sushi in Evansville. I also enjoy the galbi. Great place for a quiet dinner downtown.

Good food. Great sushi. Four stars only because sometimes they get slow at lunch. But everything else about this place is delightful.

With that, I have been surprised more times than not by trying these places. Not the case today. I ordered a simple hibachi steak and shrimp combo and a tako su app which is octopus. The salad was OK. The soup tasted watered down and poorly seasoned. The octopus was the game changer. I have eaten octopus my entire life and this was clearly previously frozen and aged out after thawing. It had a rancid smell and texture was hard, not chewy. They covered it in Ponzu to hide it but no amount of sauce could fix this. I took one bite and sent it back fearing I would risk food poisoning if I consumed it. Dinner came out and tbe portions were skimpy and the steak was overcooked. Rather than complain I thought I would cut my losses and simply not come back. Then the bill came and they left the rancid octopus on the check. I asked why and I was told the chef prepared it right so I would be billed. Had to get a manager involved to get it taken off. Serious disappointment with this place. If you come here, stick to common ingredients that turn over regularly because old spoiled food will find its way to your plate before it finds a trash can where it belongs.

We were quickly greeted and seated. The restaurant was meticulously clean!! The food was cooked fresh and tasted delightful! I started my order with the New York roll, a lightly breaded and deep fried roll and it was amazing! For the entree I opted for the Filet, Chicken, and Shrimp hibachi. Again, the food came out fast, freshly prepared, and tasted amazing! The portions were bigger than average with enough hibachi left over for the following days lunch.

However, their carryout service was really busy with people coming in and out. I ordered the Chicken Hibachi dinner. I wanted to compare it to other restaurants that offer this dish. It's served with a clear soup and green salad, vegetables and fried rice. I didn't like the soup but the salad was very tasty. The serving of chicken and rice was ample. I even took some home which is rare for me. The vegetables were delicious, the fried rice was tasty and the chicken was seasoned well. It was a good dinner, but just not as good as the places I usually get this meal. My husband got the sushi and was disappointed. He found it pretty bland, when it was suppose to be a spicy dish, and didn't like how the fish was cut up. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The server was attentive. Since it was hard to hear our conversation due to the TV, I asked her to turn it down and she did. That is a pet peeve of mine. Unless you are in a bar, I don't know why TVs need to be in restaurants. It's a good restaurant, but it didn't meet my expectations.

There were plenty of parking so you don't have to worry about not being able to find a parking spot. I tried their tempura shrimp roll and also their chicken teriyaki bento box. Everything was excellent except for the Hibachi soup. I order it ever time and it's so salty. I'll try the Miso next time. The service is excellent with friendly staff. Also, the restaurant is clean. I'll be back again in a couple months.
