Chicken fried rice n egg rolls

Obviously no indoor dining during Covid and I guess this place is super busy. The lady in the counter tried to give me food that I didn't order ..whatever it's a misunderstanding. I got my food and I wasn't really expecting much but figured they can't mess up fried rice. Well this place can lol. Too spicy and no flavor, I probably won't come back to this place.

My boss took the team here for lunch since most of them had been multiple times. I ordered the L3 Pud Kra Tiem (Garlic), which came with your meat of choice (I chose chicken), broccoli, carrots, and onions served in the house garlic sauce and black pepper. It was served with a side of steamed rice. It was really cute because the rice came out in the shape of a heart! The food was good when we dined in, but I noticed that compared to when we had takeout before the portions were smaller. The people I went with also warned me that the service can be very hit or miss, but it was overall efficient. I did not have my water filled the entire time we were there, but the food came out pretty fast and it was hot and yummy. I would order this again, but probably get it to go.

two orders of pud thai with pork, one medium and one mild. two orders of garlic stir fry with beef, one medium and one mild.

My family of four has been buying from Jay's for about four years. We always get the same thing and they never disappoint. The Pad Thai with pork and the Garlic Beef are outstanding! They're very generous with their portions as we usually have most of one order of Pad Thai left over. We always order on the phone for pick up to eat at home and it usually takes around 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. I'm not 100% how dine in service is but take out is great.

The food is nothing to write home about. My vegetarian pad Thai with tofu was dry and my vegetable fried rice tasted funny. The restaurant is small and leaves much to imagination on the outside just as much is the inside. Altogether my two dishes came out to $18 and change. I would not go back to try any other dishes, it's not worth the time or money. I saw other ratings and thought that this would be a great place to grab some Thai from and I was very disappointed. Pick another spot, you might need to drive to Indianapolis to get fairly good Thai.

Chicken peppers with cashews is perfection! Love all of their dishes. Friendly people. Seating area is nothing fancy, super casual, clean.

Always tasty and fast. My favorite place to eat in Kokomo. I get the chicken pud Thai or the cashew chicken. Both are consistently good.

Thai here is absolutely delicious. It's flavorful, it's right. But what puts this place in a…read morecategory of it's own is how spicy they can make stuff. It just so happens to be that I love spicy food. The spicier the better, and in a typical Thai kitchen, nobody can make the food spicy enough. Ever. In fact, I started coming up with these challenges for the chefs. So when the waiter asks how spicy do I want it, I'd say something like: "tell the chef to make it as spicy as he can", or "hit me with all they got". At Jay's, when the waitress asked me how spicy do I want it, I said: "tell the chef that if he can't make me cry, I'm not paying for it." So I issued this challenge all over US and Canada, and nobody ever came close to me saying that it was spicy. Jay's Thai Food in Marion, Indiana did. I cried, I hiccuped, I sweated. I regretted giving the challenge. Tom Yum soup was absolutely delicious and it was the spiciest thing I ever ate. Well done.

The flavor was "off" It tasted like curry powder from the local grocery store, and definitely didn't have Thai flavors. Also, I could not find any pineapple pieces in the fried rice- zero, zip! I wonder if they simply forgot it? The service was fine for carry out. My food was ready and hot when I picked it up.

The restaurant is smaller but we never have any issues with getting seated. They do a big take out business but the kitchen is extremely efficient and food comes out very quickly. My favorite is the Pad See Ewe but I get it with pad Thai noodles instead of the wide noodles. Medium spice is perfect. Don't ask for mild unless you just don't like flavor or spice. It's just not tasty; very very bland. One tip for the restaurant is to invest in a water filter. The water tastes very metallic. You are gonna wanna ask for some lemon. Parking in the underground parking is super convenient. Or grab street parking if you can find it. Super delish. Great service. Nice portion. Good price.

I go medium for spice as I got hot one time and well IT WAS HOT! Still delicious and. I Love spicy food but it was almost too much for me. I still ate eveything but learned medium is the best for spicy and enjoyable. Spring rolls are great. They do get a bit busy but they're very quick to check on your table and make sure everything is good.
