My whole family, including my picky children, love the food here! We typically get takeout, so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant, but the takeout is wonderful. They have always been wonderful and extremely helpful when we have had questions about what to order.

This is for the buffet. Everything was great and we had it all. The salad was nice with onions crunchy and fresh. The tandoori chicken and masala was on point. I have had Indian food all over the world and this is it ! Naan comes fresh to order. Service is impeccable!!!! Best service ever. Attentive. Helpful. The place is very open floor plan.

VERY GOOD FOOD!!! Mild is just right for me. I usually like what is considered spicy at mexican restaurants, and I would say Zaika's mild matches that. My dad has high spice tolerance (usually likes the super spicy at mexican restaurants) and said that medium was a good spice level. If you have cilantro issues, beware!! It's everywhere. Ask if there is cilantro on EVERYTHING! No tiny trash cans in the women's stall. Yikes.

Atmosphere is great they totally revamped the place which is cool, Service was pretty mid 5/10 but I Honestly wasn't too impressed with the dishes we got today. The chicken Vindaloo didn't have potatoes in it and it was more tomato sauce like than a curry base more than anything which was disappointing 5/10. Don't get me wrong it was still good I just wasn't too enthused about the dish. I got their mango lassi drink and it was absolutely delicious 10/10. Also got spring rolls(comes with dipping sauce) they were fantastic 9/10. I'm sure they have different dishes that taste wonderful but this was my first time trying them and I was a bit let down especially since everyone's been saying it's a blast online.

Probably best place in Kokomo plus great staff. Have American too. Better chicken sandwich than Chick, Popeyes, Canes or KFC

Legit Indian food! I was driving from Indy to South Bend and looking for a good vegetarian dinner option. Zaika hit the spot!

If you are reading reviews, ignore older ones as they may apply to an earlier restaurant. I ordered take-out using an online app. Ordering was easy and the food was ready when I arrived. We started with the appetizer platter. Some were better than others, but the point of getting the platter was to see what we liked best. We shared a lamb with chickpea dinner and liked it very much. It came with rice and bread and 3 small portions of toppings. I also ordered the raita and a second kind of bread. One bread would have sufficed. We had a little of everything left over for lunch another day. We'll order from here again.

The menu had a lot of variety including some dishes I hadn't seen elsewhere. I decided to try something new and ordered the Saag Bhartha which is eggplant in the familiar spinach sauce. The eggplant is cooked down so the dish is creamy and rich; it was very flavorful and a spice level of 3 was perfect for me. It had some heat but didn't result in a burning mouth. The garlic naan was delicious and the basmati rice that came with the entree was perfectly cooked. The serving size was very generous and I enjoyed the leftovers for dinner the next night. I definitely want to try more items on their menu and see some takeout orders in my future. Service was good, and the atmosphere was quiet and perfect for catching up with a friend.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with booths, tables, and a full bar. They have moon chandeliers! Our server Joorie was delightful. She helped us with our decisions as well as suggested pairings. The food was delicious. Every dish was hot and fresh. We had a great meal and are looking forward to returning.

There was a light crowd for lunch, which surprised me given the excellent Indian food. I strongly encourage others to give this new restaurant a try. For an appetizer we had the Shahi Kurkuri Bhindi. This is thinly sliced okra with light breading and seasoning. It is deep fried. It was $10 for plenty to share. We would definitely order it again. They have a lunch menu but we ordered from the regular dinner menu. My wife had the Punjav's Favorite Tikka Masala with chicken. It was $19 and is ranked as some of the best she said she has ever had. I enjoyed the Kashmiri Rogan Josh. You can order it with lamb, chicken, or bone-in goat. I chose the lamb. The serving was very generous and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was $19 as well. We ordered the Rosemary Garlic Naan, for $5, to accompany the dishes and it did not disappoint. All dishes were served with rice. The decor is upscale modern. The servers were very attentive, pleasant. and knowledgeable about the menu. This is the best Indian food I have had in Carmel and ranks very high among any Indian restaurants I have experienced. I encourage others to give it a try ... even if you may have never tasted Indian food. You will find something on the menu and you will not be disappointed.
