This matter has been resolved to our satisfaction very quickly after my post, and we are…read moresatisfied. Thank you for reaching out. Camping World is on my mind. Hopefully I can unload here and maybe even help someone not to make the same mistake I did. My issue is with Camping World, We bought a new 26' Cougar 26RKE and traded our Imagine in on it. Not sure yet if that was wise. Purchase went well, but that is where it ends. Camping World of Columbia were fine falling all over us with the purchase process, however that's where the marriage stops and the divorce starts. Every time I've ever been on the receiving end of service it's like they feed you bull until you get totally fed up. Then it's like ignore you. Warranty work should not take weeks. We have a new camper and the slide came out most of the way and then dropped about 6". Used a floor jack to raise it and get it back it. Service said that they weren't busy so bring it right up and they get us right in. That was the first lie. Wife called week later, service writer hadn't heard, wife said can you check, well they'll let me know, That's not what she asked, can you check? This isn't the first time we've went through trouble with this service department, we have had many rvs in the past years and seems like this is a regular pattern, they have too many in sales that need pushed out the door to take care of their warranty work. You see the almighty buck speaks loader. I've said it many times no more, don't know when I'm going to get it through my head that they suck. So please take my advice look for some place else to buy. Blue Compass, RV Unlimited, anywhere but Camping World Columbia.

The associate I spoke to on the phone informed me that it was acceptable to come in and dump and was uncertain about the availability of freshwater. The dump was straightforward. While some water spigots were malfunctioning, we were able to overcome this issue with the assistance of a 50-foot hose. With such reliable and convenient service, I would undoubtedly do business with them in the future.

Was told "Josh" was not at desk and would call back. Never heard from him but we stopped anyway - bad move on our part 2 hours later - to be told Josh, was as lunch .They had to wait to hear from unavailable "Josh". We left. Got it done in Springfield and that biz couldn't have been nicer.

I took my camper for a full inspection prior to heading to Louisiana for hurricane relief work…read more Josh assured me they had checked every appliance. Paid $355. Arrived and hooked up the water....massive leak in back of the camper. I had to dry camp the 18 days. Returned the camper to Bourbon RV for repair with the assurance there would be no labor charges due to them missing the leak. The water heater was the source of the leak. This refuted the statement that "all appliances were in working order". Prior to picking up the camper, Josh assured me that he had personally checked everything including the tires. When I picked it up, there were labor charges on my bill. Josh removed them at my insistence. I paid close to $1200. On my way to do hurricane relief in Georgia, there is an issue with the tires?! I've been stuck here 6 days while a repair shop worked on it. Three out of four tires were not seated tightly on the axle, and were 18 lbs lower than prescribed?! All this to say that the lack of integrity and good service at Bourbon RV is shocking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I found them online and put down my deposit. The RV we got (a Class C) was bigger than I anticipated. Very spacious and could sleep 10 people! Luckily it was just the two of us and my son meeting us at our RV spot for a family reunion. In the evenings we had plenty of room for a group to play cards, snack, etc. Anyway, about the experience.... Lora was very good at sending reminders of when the payment was due, emailing the paperwork for us to send back, etc. I was disappointed that we were the last in line to pick up our RV to start our vacation (3PM instead of 2 like I thought) but she ended up letting us bring it back an hour later which actually worked out better! The RV was clean and they did a great job of showing us how to use it. They were even available for a phone consultation (after hours) when we forgot one of the steps for leveling the motor home. I loved the fact that they didn't charge extra for generator use and we had a generous amount of miles that could be used per day. They even cleaned out the sewer for us when we dropped it off and refilled the propane so we didn't have to mess with any of that! All we had to do was bring it back full of gas which is very easy because there is a gas station across the street. Dropping it off was a breeze and took no time at all! I wish we didn't have to buy extra insurance as our car insurance would have covered it, but Lora explained that not all insurance companies are the same, and it was just for precaution. Luckily the extra insurance was not that much. I will definitely use them again if I ever need to rent another motor home in the St. Louis area. (Unless I can convince my husband to buy one!)
