Enough is enough. Decided to give them one last chance. Bad idea. Not only were they not willing to correct their mistake from my last visit, but they screwed up our order AGAIN!!!!! Luckily, we checked it before we left. When we saw it was incorrect we went back in to have them fix it. This is where it got worse. We approached the girl at the counter (the SAME girl from our last visit that messed up the order) and told her what was wrong. Want to know what she had the audacity to say in response? "We'll I didn't make it." EXCUSE ME ?!?!?!?!? Rude rude rude, totally unprofessional and unacceptable. This chick needs a serious check by management. We told her this isn't what we paid for and to have whoever DID make it, fix it. She took the bagels from us, had them throw on cold ingredients that were missing and literally.... LITERALLY tossed it on the counter in front of us and walked away. Holy sh## I've never had worse customer service at ANY food establishment EVER. This is downright bull$#*% For what you pay, you at least deserve to get decent service let alone correct food. So pissed I supported this establishment so strongly just to have them do this. Suuuuuuuuckt. The atmosphere: hectic, rude. Employees non communicative. By the time we figured out where to pick up the bagel, it was cold. "Jalapeño bagel" with "jalapeño cream cheese" - barely tasted jalapeño, and the cream cheese tasted Like chives. The Americano was awful, and i think that it was because the cream was spoiled. I used to love coming to this place. My wife and I were there twice this week and both experiences weren't very good. First one I went up to grab our sandwiches when my name was called. I had a bowl of chowder with mine and no spoon. Then I had to ask for a cracker. Got to the table and realized we didn't get our chips or pickle that come with the sandwiches. I had to go back up and get those. Then I looked around for salt and pepper for a few minutes and couldn't find any. I didn't ask because I already had to go up to the counter 3 times. Today it took a long time to get our sandwiches. 30- 35 minutes to be exact. 4 people who came in after us got their food first. One guy was done eating before we got ours. My sandwich sat up on the counter for 15 minutes before they put my wife's up there. When I asked why ours took so long I was told, "you ordered a pannini they take longer. Even though 2 days prior we got the same sandwich in half the time and it was much busier. They also didn't give us our pickles or chips. I get to the table and my sandwich was completely wrong. Everything I wanted off the sandwich was on it and vice versa. $25- $30 for a couple sandwiches, soups and beverages is a little high in my opinion. I'm not a regular here, even though the bagels are really good. I don't care for the ambiance - it doesn't invite me to sit and relax and read a few chapters. It's too bright and the furniture is basically wooden tables and chairs like you might find in the food court at Ikea. Plus the coffee is only so-so. Even though it's called Jazzy Bagels, the music they play is no more raucous than the Vince Guaraldi Trio. It's jazz for those who don't like jazz. There is a baby grand piano in the middle of the place, but usually nobody playing it. That being said, the bagels are fresh and very good. They have the usual -plain, sesame seed, poppy seed, cinnamon-rasin, but also some specialty bagels - cheddar cheese, asiago, and asiago-spinich. The asiago bagels with Jalapeño cream cheese are to die for! There can be a long line of suburbanites waiting to order, but if you're in the mood for a good bagel, it's worth the wait. read more

I've been coming here for some time now. The quick eat options are somewhat limited in this area of town, so it's been an easy breakfast choice. The bagels are mediocre and the coffee is overpriced. The reason for the 1 star however is the older man who is always there in the mornings (the owner, I'm sure). He's quite possibly the rudest person I've ever dealt with in a retail setting. I could get over his grumpiness and lack of friendliness or even a smile, but being accused of stealing a soda while filling up my water cup was the last straw. It's been a tradition of mine to come here Sundays with my daughter and her friends/mom. My daughter gets to spend time with her friends while I get to catch up with my Mama friends. I always get the open face lox with pesto Parmesan cream cheese! It's the best! They always have someone playing the piano on Sundays which is nice. Super yummy bagels. I come here every Sunday after church and it's the best breakfast I could have. Switched it up for Starbucks bagels which these are by far a lot better!! Totally recommend it. We have been to Jazzy Bagels a few times now, and their bagels are delicious, their cream cheese spreads are tasty, and their bagel sandwiches are filling. The folks there are very nice and will make just about anything you want and just how you want it. Our first visit was when the piano player was playing, and we truly enjoyed eating our bagel sandwiches and listening to the beautiful music emanating from the baby grand in the center of the dining area! I really enjoy this lunch spot in downtown Gresham. The bagels are always fresh and their menu has a variety of ways which to eat them. Whether you want just a plain bagel with cream cheese or go big with a bagel burger, they have a lot of options, with my favorite being the turkey/avocado club. They also have soup, salad and paninis, make smoothies, coffee and italian sodas plus they serve breakfast. Jazzy is definitely one of the best eateries in Gresham. read more

I got the spinach and cheese bagel and thought I was solid, and a chai tea which was surprisingly good. First time here and it was definitely not great. We had a homeless man follow us around inside for a while (sorry, but that kinda puts a damper on ones appetite). We ordered and picked a table to sit at. There's a large piano in the room, and soon after a man sits down to start playing it. Maybe this is just a personal preference, but I'm not a fan of live music in small restaurants like this. It makes it very difficult to have a conversation. The restaurant itself is not very clean. The piano is covered in a thick layer of dust and the sides are smudged with grubby hand prints. The floors and tables also needed to be cleaned. Honestly seeing things this dirty (seriously, it would take less than 30 seconds to clean all the dust off that piano) makes me wonder how clean the food prep areas are... My sister ordered a caramel frapp with almond milk, no whip. They put whip on it... The breakfast bagels we got were very tasty and fresh. But there were so many appetite turn offs here, I don't see myself ever returning. read more

This is my absolute favorite place to eat for breakfast or lunch. My husband jokes that one of these days I'll turn into a bagel, I eat them so much. The bagels are so fresh, great with cream cheese, as a breakfast bagel with egg, or with sandwich meat. I love buying a dozen and freezing them to use for lunch at work.
