I've gone to Jazzy's for years but they have really gone downhill. They used to have the best Bagels I have found in the entire Portland Metro area but no longer. They discontinued my favorites and choice I ended up with was tasteless and like cardboard. They also changed the sandwiches. I found out the original owner, who was so great to the community, sold the business a couple of years ago. It was always a great community meeting place but no more... .I won't be back. read more

Jazzy Bagels is a longtime favorite of mine and my family. I have yet to find better bagels anywhere else. Their house made cream cheeses are also outstanding. My favorite breakfast is a toasted salt bagel with light chive cream cheese. Yum!! read more

I normally don't write reviews on anything but having a history in working with food I thought I should share that there was one staff who used NO gloves while preparing food while all the other staff did. I watched her touch her hair and face and then touching food right after, with no washing of the hands or putting gloves on in between. Their customer service is terrible... they ignored their line of customers for about 5 minutes until one of us finally spoke up. This was my first and last time coming here. read more

Best bagels in Gresham. Really like the jalapeno cream cheese, my kids really like the Tillamook Cheddar cheese bagels.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Gresham. They have a big selection of great tasting bagels. I love the jalepeno bagels slathered with cream cheese. Add a cup of their darkroast coffee, and you've got the perfect light breakfast. Free refills on the coffee too! The casual jazzy decor and atmosphere of the place make for a really enjoyable neighborhood hangout. The baby grand piano is a nice touch. read more

This is a great place for when we are in a pinch at work and need something quick and delicious for the staff. It is only a few blocks away from us and they have great service with delicious sandwiches. We have been regulars here for some time. Usually good experiences though we've had a few disappointments. They've made some changes to their food lately - still good but was a bit better before. Once both my husband and I found long hairs in our egg bagel during the same visit (yuck). Most recently our concern was customer service - we were there at opening time. They were late opening with three customers outside. They could see us but no acknowledgement or apology. Just ignoring us as they walked past the door. We waited for about 8 minutes past opening then left. We went down the street to Delirium and had great service and a great breakfast! read more

You have to try their umpqua milkshake! I always ask for vanilla with just a bit of chocolate, it tastes soo good, so sad that I live 35 mins away from it otherwise i would come here everyday. The milkshake gets a 5 star. I tried 3 different other bagel sandwiches but only one I really liked which was the turkey blt sooo yummy! The other ones not so much was pizza one and there was one I don't remember that had waay too much mustard on it yuck! Oh and their bagel dog was delicious! Well this is kind of bad news. I went there the first time and had a bagel, Asiago one. It was really good. The cashier was very friendly. Everything looked good. I observed the lunch menu while i was waiting for the my bagel. Decided to come again for lunch. With my wife on her lunch break on a Saturday I went to this place, ordered sandwiches. To our shock there was a small piece of broken glass in my wife's sandwich. It was small enough for her not notice until she took a bite. Thankfully she spit it out and there were no injuries. I dont think is that common so I went up and told them very quietly about what happened. The barista was stunned and did not know how to react. A hush voice from behind the counter said..."quick make it again". They made us a new sandwich, however, I never received any apologies. No one came and talked to us. They did not even bring the new sandwich to our table. I dont think they even realize how dangerous it was. Needles to say I will never go back. read more

The Restaurant is going through some changes. NOT GOOD. Prices on menu board are not correct and when questioned why a mocha is 4.50 instead of the 3.75 " sorry, we haven't updated the new prices." Really?? Isn't the usual practice to raise the price after you change the sign? Now chips and pickles are "sides" $1 each to add( these used to come with sandwiches). Plain Bagels went from $1.35 to $1.75 (+29%) I don't what the reason for the 20%+ price increase is but there are a lot of restaurants in the area competing for my business. Live piano, busy on a Saturday lunch time but not uncomfortably packed. I only had the soup (southwest chicken tortilla) but it was DELICIOUS, and I am kind of picky. Went there for lunch today because my bf had a craving for bagels and lox. It was a beautiful Saturday around lunch time, so I anticipated a bit of line. We got there, ordered our simple meals (I mean, it's a bagel with cream cheese, a slice of salmon and a few capers...) and with difficulty found a seat. The seating area is very crowded and uncomfortable. After the 45 minute wait in tight spaces as more customers came in, we decided to get our lunch to go. So when we finally heard our name (difficult in crowded room), we got up to the counter only to have someone else walk off with one of our plates as we approached. It took him a minute or two before he realized it wasn't what he ordered and he brought it back to the counter and informed the overworked crew. When we asked for our lunches to go, I pointed out the plate the gentleman had walked off with and said I didn't know what we should do with this one. She picked it up and began to package it and put it in with our order! She actually packaged and handed us a plate of 'returned' food. No offense to the man who took it by mistake, but we don't want something he could have sneezed on and if I remember my food service training, re-plating returned food is a HUGE no-no! And the fact that the whole thing took place RIGHT IN FRONT OF US...are you kidding?! My bf was so pissed off, that when we walked out, he took his order in full view of the window and forcefully threw it in the trash, making sure others would see him. We will never go back again. It would have been easier, cheaper and more sanitary to make it myself - which I will do next time he gets a craving for bagels and lox! read more

You will find us here weekly during the school year during homework with our young child drinking coffee and eating bagels. We love coming here and get a cheapish fast meal.
