Jazzy has only young adults that look like teenagers, besides the manger. They look about 18 is the youngest team member. They have "Great costumer service" However if dance to there amazing Jazzy music they kicked me out. So shame on them. Also, by they store antecks that basically tell you that Jazzy. The food was amazing, but the workers and vibes were horrible! These bagels were honestly so good that we went three days in a row on our trip to Oregon! The reason for the lack of stars was due to the workers and the overall vibe. We ordered ahead of time all three days, seeing as we didn't want to wait around. It was easier to order online since we didn't want to take up time trying to decide what we wanted. The biggest issue is that they have a pick up area but no one is really there and its awkward to reach over and look for your order so your left waiting on someone, the first time it wasnt that bad we waited and the worker seemed annoyed but it was fine, but the second day we went on 11/22 around 7:45ish the girl working the expresso machine in a stripped black and white shirt with strawberry blond hair could not be bothered or care about anything, we walked up to the pick up area right in front and just stood there we looked at her she looked at us and nothing and we continued to wait till she said if we needed something and we told her we were there for pick up and said our name she didnt care to get our name right and looked annoyed and said its not ready passive aggressively we waited some time and i realized that another worker placed a bag down and i had a feeing it was our but i wasnt too sure and i assumed she would let us know that out order was ready and we didnt wanna go back up and ask if it wasnt ours to futher annoy her so we waited for 5 more minutes until we walked back and and she looked at us like we were stupid and was like yeah???? and we were like our order and shes just handed it to us and didnt say anything but make a snarky face and we were beyond confused as to why she was being so rude and nasty and it left a bad impression on us and not to mention the vibes were off in the establishment, my fiance and I are both minorities and people looked at us like we were aliens and i feel like the white workes did feel superior towards us and we felt the bad vibes!!! I will say that on our third day there was another interracial couple picking up food as well before us and they looked at them like they were crazy and were equally as rude to them! Overall the food was good, despite the horrible workers and atmosphere. I will add that it is weird for them to act a certain way towards us because the name of the company is Jazzy's, as in jazz music, which is rooted in African American culture, so it's odd how they treat minorities differently, especially so close to Portland!!! I'm sure if we were white our experience would have been better! read more

Excellent bagels with a wide selection to choose from. We ordered over a dozen! The cheesy-everything was delicious,(my favorite), the multi grain was very Yummy and not heavy, jalapeño Asiago could have used a bit more jalapeño in my opinion and the poppyseed, cranberry orange were very good. Four stars instead of five because they are a little bit slow on service which is being a picky. I would have knocked off only a half star if possible. So if you love bagels try this place out & tell me what you think. read more

The Good: Love the atmosphere here and love going on the weekends when there is live piano--the pianists are always fantastic. The bagels are awesome, and they've got a wide variety of bagel types, cream cheeses, sandwiches, coffee options, and more. Multiple outside table options. The Bad: They're very disorganized and slow to make the food. You walk in one door and have to weave through a tiny area and go around the line that people are forced to form at the other end where you order. You order, and then someone else asks you what you ordered and they keep sending you down the line like that. Then when you go to pay, you have to repeat your order for a third time. Why don't they just write it down and give it to the cashier? Or why can't you just pay when you order? And why does it often take 20+ minutes to make a bagel sandwich? The Takeaway: Great atmosphere and good bagels but staff is disorganized and the current system they have that forces you to repeat your order multiple times doesn't work well. I hope they adjust that soon--things could run so much smoother. read more

Food is alway fresh and tasty, but it is the little things...like always remembering how to make the sandwich. If the menu says tomatoes and pickels come with the sandwich, be sure they are on it not just 2 out of 4 times (50%) of the time. But every time. Also, be sure you slice the pickels lengthwise and thin, rather than cube them before you put them on your custome's bagel. Large cubed pickels are difficult to consume on a bagel sandwich. If two people come in to place an order toether, make sure you make eye contact with both, especially when confirming both cistomers selection. Also, listen to the second person, especially if it is the same exact order as the first person. Last, love all humans no matter their age, gender, race, be nice to everyone. read more

This is a nice neighborhood café with bagels, in a town where they don't have many bagels. I used to come here about 15 years ago as a kid. It hasn't changed much on the inside in the past 15 years. There is a giant piano in the middle of the cafe and various musical instruments on the walls as decoration. The bagels were above average, toasty and delicious. I got a savory Asiago bagel and my husband got a sweet apple cinnamon bagel. The drinks (a vanilla mocha and a caramel mocha) took a while to be ready (almost 10 mins) but they were really really good. The coffees are worth any wait here. Located in the heart of downtown Gresham, this is worth a stop for carbs and caffeine before starting your day. read more

My family like a variety of their bagels, especially the everything, tilamook cheddar, and blueberry. They are always fresh, and high quality. In a surprising hit, try grabbing a loaf of their dessert breads. You can sample these at the farmers market. They are sweet and doughey. They are amazing with some fresh butter. Mmm. The staff and atmosphere are great. Super friendly, a great place to meet people and have a cup of conversation. My neighbor is retired and likes to meet up with a group of friends there on weekday mornings to chat about local politics -- it is the kind of place where that is welcomed. read more

We were ignored when standing at the counter twice, despite 6 employees standing behind the counter. The bagels themselves are decent, but the menu is lackluster. It shouldn't take 30 minutes for a cup of soup, a Caesar salad, bagel chips and two sandwiches. You want me to tip you when I order (and you take forever, despite only one 2-person order ahead of us), then you want me to bus my own table. One of their tip jars needs to go to the pianist.
