I had a great experience with Nick Stamathis from AquaGuard. He was personable, sincere,…read moreknowledgeable, and, most importantly, trustworthy. He took the time to show me the cracks in my foundation and clearly explained why my home would benefit from SettleStop Push Piers. I've been a customer of AquaGuard for four years, ever since they encapsulated my crawlspace. I've been very satisfied with both their initial work and the annual servicing since then. In fact, it was during one of these routine visits that the foundation issue was identified. I'm grateful Nick caught the problem early and put together a clear plan to stop the settling before it gets worse. It's reassuring to work with a company that stays proactive and stands behind their service.

I signed the contract and made my first payment on 6/25/2026. The installation was done on 7/14/2026. The very next day, my basement flooded -- the exact same way it did before the install. Nothing changed. I paid over $6,000 for a system that did absolutely nothing to fix the issue it was sold to fix. On top of that, the sump pump is defective. It beeps every time it rains. A technician who eventually came out confirmed two things: (1) the sump pump did not fix my flooding problem, and (2) the beeping is not normal behavior -- it indicates a faulty pump. That was three weeks ago. No one has come to replace or repair the defective pump. My basement still floods as if nothing was ever installed. Getting anyone on the phone is a nightmare. It took 5-6 voicemails and multiple escalations just to get a technician scheduled, and even then it was 2-3 weeks out. No one from the company has taken ownership of the mistake, offered any restitution, or proposed a path forward. Every interaction has been dismissive and painful. I spent over $6,000 on a solution that doesn't work, installed by a company that won't return my calls. Stay away!

He did an outstanding job then, and nearly a decade later it still looks just as good as the day it was poured. Not only did it eliminate a major trip hazard, but it also improved the overall appearance of our home. I recently had the chance to speak with Matthew again and reminded him that he installed our walkway all those years ago -- and how impressed I still am with the quality. It's rare to find work that holds up this well even a decade later. If you're considering Complete Concrete & Masonry for any concrete project, I highly recommend reaching out to him for an estimate. Matthew is wonderful to work with, and the durability of his work speaks for itself. I'm still just as happy with our walkway today as I was the day it was installed.

We contacted Matthew Cook at Complete Concrete and Masonry, LLC. Matt stated that his company could repair the problems. The work has now been completed. The repair was much better than we expected. The wall with problems now looks brand new. The workers were professional and provided quality. Matt visited several times during the work to make sure all was good. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have encountered. We received quality repair at a reasonable cost. Matt will get all of our future concrete work. An amazing company!!

I can't speak for others who hired Venator to do other types of work which may be totally different…read morethan the work I required. I hired Venator to install a 4" channel drain that was to replace an original 28 year old 1" drain that was no longer adequate to collect heavy rains and move it away from my patio. While Venator's proposal seemed to be promising to provide a much needed improvement, the end results were a big disappointment. A concrete opening had to be cut in order to receive the new Spee-D Channel drain along a 25' section of my concrete patio, but they cut the opening too small. They proceeded to trim the Spee-D Channel on the bottom to make it fit into the undersized opening, which compromised the integrity of the plastic channel and wasted time focusing on the retrofitting process. All they had to do was to cut an additional 2-3" strip from the concrete and the drain would have dropped into place as the instructions suggested. After numerous attempts to inform the owner, who refused to visit the site to inspect the work, he insisted the job was being done by "Industry Standards". His main communication was via Text. I kept him informed of the shoddy workmanship with the hopes he would come by to see for himself. That was not on his agenda, even after expressing my dissatisfaction with the job as it was proceeding. I was not given a dedicated day for the work to be done. It seemed like my job was fitted in after the workers finished on a previous job. The two workers showed up at 6pm on day one and worked until 8:30pm. Not being able to finish, they had to return the next day at 3pm and worked until 8pm. The two worked hard doing their job but it seemed like this was an exploration, not a familiar experience for them. The left photo is what the installation should look like if done correctly and the right photo is what was installed, after having to cut the bottom flange on the channel drain to force it into the opening in the ground. Unfortunately, you never know what results you will get from a vendor until the job is completed. I am sorry I hired Venator for this job and I do not recommend him for this type of work.

A costly mistake, not just for this job, but for the tens, if not hundreds of thousands in future work that could have followed. They say 80% of success is simply showing up. Unfortunately, showing up to look at a project means little if you disappear when it's time to follow through. It's hard to succeed at anything in life when you only give 20%.
