I cannot begin to compliment this business enough, mostly because of the integrity of the owner,…read moreTom. He stood behind a floor that was verified by an independent National Flooring test to be defective when the manufacturer would not. This was at great financial loss to him since he did not bill us for anything when tearing up and replacing a sizable amount of wood flooring. If you think, well he should do that because the floor was defective, think again. Most companies would have some kind of charge back to you. Tom took care of moving all our furniture, adjusting things that needed to be adjusted to compensate for the new floor and his installer Alex did a beautiful job and was so neat and polite and quiet. It is rare in today's environment to find a business owner that truly knows the meaning of customer service. I don't write reviews very often, but a business is only as good as the owner, and this one is great. Thannk you Tom and staff.

We chose Wellington Floor Specialists for many reasons, but the two most important were quality and knowledge. We decided to change the entire look of our home from tile floors to wood floors. Cathy, Tom and their team were FANTASTIC.They were clean, neat, and delivered what they promised. They are competitively priced, but their team of workers have such high standards. We replaced all our floors and carpets with WELLINGTON FLOORS. Yes, you can shop around, but quality is what you get with Wellington Floor Specialists.

I have had a very disappointing experience with Jack Walsh. As other reviews mention, they are…read morequite rude and will overcharge you by a lot and then argue about it; in my case even continue to bully me after I decided to move on to another vendor. An initial estimate of European wide oak for $175,000 or approximately $34 psft broken out by material and labor became a $360,000+ number that they refused to give any (material and labor) break-down or explanation on when asked. Instead they just got rude. I told the head of the hardwood flooring division that we would go ahead and bid out the project to others since he was not willing to answer any of our questions. Of course we found other people nearby that were delightful to work with in comparison to Jack Walsh, and provided real customer service and pricing transparency. Jack Walsh then contacted the wood flooring manufacturer and demanded that we are not allowed to buy the wood floor we selected from anyone other than Jack Walsh, essentially limiting our customer choice and violating fair business practices and regulations. They now claim they have a regional monopoly on selling Mafi wood floors, which, according to many other distributors of this brand we have contacted is of course a lie from a place that continues to bully and harass us after they weren't able to rip us off without any competing bids.

Bargain Bob's SUCKS! Particularly Pete!…read more We are preparing to sell our home and needed to replace the carpet in two rooms. We went chose a carpet then before we left, we selected something different. Pete came out and measured; the team came out and installed the carpet which we had to prepare for before the installation. When I went to check their work...They installed the wrong carpet. I contacted Pete and shared a picture of the sample he gave me vs what was installed. He called me and told me that the carpet they installed is better than what we chose so he's sure it looks great. I told him it didn't, but it's irrelevant since it's done. Not even an apology. I told him I would like to confirm I paid for the carpet I wanted (which was cheaper) and not the carpet he gave us. He said he'll call me Monday he doesn't have the information. Never got a call Monday. So I followed up and asked for my receipt. Which shows we were charged for the carpet they installed. To which he replied with a whole new story "WE did not have enough of the other carpet. There's only 20 feet on it. I thought we had discussed that because I didn't pick a cookie dough for you". I told him I was highly disappointed with this entire experience. We did not talk about switching the order back, I also requested a call back...which didn't happen. And now there is a fictitious story and all the while not even an apology. I closed with "we will not be using your company for ANYTHING in the future." His response "I'm sorry for the disappointment you were shown some samples sometimes the rolls aren't large enough...I'll make sure when the next experience that I make it up to you...I can't remember the exact line of communication because I deal with a lot of different sales, but I've been doing this for 21 years and usually do the same thing every time if I did and I apologize....That is really nice carpet." Lost a customer Bob, thank Pete. I'll do my best to share this around so others aren't impacted the way we were.
