All handled professionally, quickly, and with care. Recently, we had an issue where the line gave out (50 years of sediment under your house will do that). The fix was not within their capacity, so they referred me to some excellent colleagues who were able to repair the issue for me. Our air conditioned decided it wanted to stop working this past June, in the hottest June in record. Originally we had a family member who is an AC guy give us some fixes but they just didn't work and finally after 2 miserable weeks I looked for a professional company. I came across B&L and was bowled over by the stunning reviews. I called just before they opened and the owner Fabian called back right away. He came over that very same morning and checked out our situation and advised on options. He was no nonsense and I appreciate that because I despise the bs tactics that some people use. He was upfront and said they weren't the cheapest but weren't the most expensive. We went with a whole new system because ours was already 13 years old and was a 2 ton and we should have a 2.5. I liked the warranty and they had excellent finance options. Fabian gave us a realistic schedule date and they even loaned us a portable unit while we waited for the install. Dara was excellent and so so nice when she came to the house to drop off the unit and have me sign the contract. Every time I texted she was quick and friendly with responses. Steve and Kyle came out on time on the scheduled install date and were done the same date. They did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves. When we kept hearing a weird humming that started driving us crazy they came back out and inspected and we're able to solve the issue which was very much appreciated. Don't get me wrong, new systems are expensive and I know not everyone can afford them but I am betting that the repair work for this company is just as good as new installs. These are the type of businesses my husband and I prefer to work with. Family owned who really care about their customers and their work quality. When I got home and started asking questions, suddenly that "replacement" turned into a $2,250 "warranty fix." That was all I needed to hear--I showed that clown the door. I then called Slobodnik Services, and the difference was night and day. The tech showed up, actually diagnosed the issue, and found that insulation was choking off the refrigeration component. He put some duct tape around it, added half a pound of refrigerant, and had everything running perfectly--for $200. That's it. No scare tactics. No upsell. Just honest, skilled work. It's incredibly hard to find honest tradespeople these days, especially in HVAC here in Florida, where it sometimes feels like everyone is trying to sell you a whole new system whether you need it or not. This experience was a breath of fresh air. Honestly, I couldn't wait to pay the guy. It all stated when I was working out of town in July and I received a phone call from my wife in a panic as the house was hot and A/C was not working. This was a bad thing and since we have an older house in downtown and we have upgraded everything except for the electrical and A/C I know it was going to come (just not when I was out of town). We first started calling random A/C companies to get quotes and then while talking to a friend who works for Carrier we got Tim's contact info and called them. We actually received 5 different quotations and Tim's was by far the best value. Other places were quoting the bottom of the line equipment, with Tim we were able to get almost the top of the line equipment for cheaper then most of the other places (because we were able to get a $1,000 rebate from the Manufacture). On the day of installation the crew did great work, Tim him self was actually at the house putting in the A/C. These people have a passion about what they do and were extremely concerned with their quality. I feel that I am very critical with construction since that is what I do for a profession and these guys have done a very good job especially considering they had to install the system in a house that was built in the 50's.

I had a single stage 2-ton unit that really struggled with maintaining acceptable humidity levels, so I had then replace it with a new 2-ton, 2 stage, variable speed system. The team was very professional and easy to work with and the pricing was very competitive! The team got my old unit out and the new unit replaced in one day and everything is working great. So thankful for the Arctic Cool team for everything!

After receiving several quotes from other air conditioning unit providers, we went with Blue Star Air and ordered a new unit from them. Sanjay worked with us in selecting the right unit for our home, and gave us a maintenance schedule to have our unit serviced once a year to avoid it malfunctioning due to low fluid levels, or dirty lines. Today our unit was due for a routine maintenance, and John came out to inspect and service our unit. John let us know we were down a few pounds of coolant in our unit, and filled it up to standard. He inspected our unit upstairs and outside, and assured us all was looking good. He said it is good that we stay on top of our maintenance service, as the fluids we were low on will eventually cause the unit to malfunction. Living in Florida, it's critical to have your air conditioner always working, and we know we can count on Blue Star Air for all of our AC needs.
