I used to work there and I have over a hundred pictures of neglect filth absolute filth in the…read moreplaces. The little rooms that the dogs parents are shown... the pups never see them. They sleep and eat and stay over in dank filthy cells that have nothing. They show these really nice bougied out little rooms but they don't ever stay in them. Those dogs never see those rooms. They go over to the boarding side where it's an empty cell, and it is a cell. There's bite marks blood dust. There's nothing the intercom doesn't even work. It's horrible. The manager Kerry doesn't know the first thing about dogs. She has no training nothing.I'm a vet tech and I worked there at night. So at night is what I only saw.So during the day, there's no telling what went on there. None of the people that work at the spa paws motel were licensed had any type of training with dogs. How to break up a dog fighs, comfort scared dogs. How to make it a calm environment etc....They didn't know the first thing about caring.for animals period. They're not counselors. They never checked the dogs out. They just wanted to see the bankroll that was coming in, it was horrible. The way those dogs were treated. I don't know if the owner knew what carry and her daughter and their little family that worked there. They were running that place into the ground. Every time I asked the owner's name and how to get in touch with her.I was stopped obviously or else I would have told the owner what was going on.All I was told was that the owner broke her leg.And that she's recuperating.Well, it's been like two or three years that she's been recuperating, so I find that unbelievable.I don't know if she knew that Kerry had no training.Whatsoever, not even in bookkeeping, but in animal care at all. The groomers were great.I thought they knew what they were doing, but the people working in the motel.... If I could give them a negative seven zeros.I would like I said, i've got over a hundred pictures of the filth and neglect that went on there.People would bring their dogs in and have their toys and their bedding. Those dogs never saw any of their stuff. It's taken to the bathroom and put on a shelf. Those dogs never get anything of their own.Their comfort, their toys, the things that are from home. You're supposed to be comforting them while their parents are away. They got nothing . They got shoved in a little, tiny room with nothing.A water bowl if that. Kerrysaid we didn't give their stuff from home because we didn't have.We didn't want to have to pay for it if they ruined it well.I would think there would be a waiver somewhere on the contract that the people are signing asked you if their stuff is ruined that we were not liable. But no, that was never even put on there, all their stuff got kept in a bag shoved on the shelf. Many other people that worked there have terrible reviews about this place.Go on indeed and look at the.Reviews of spa paws horrible, horrible, horrible.I hope the city did shut them down.Because I turned them in.I sure did I have proof of the neglect and filth that was there.I don't know if anybody else does. But I took many, many pictures and recorded many, many conversations with Kerry.

So, they must be giving him extra good care there. Also he is groomed well. And the owner is very kind. She gave me a huge free bag of food and a bag of treats to try out. The treats are his favorite!

It's amazing how all the Dogs get along and are so well mannered, that's due to Ayra's training! They have a huge playground with agility equipment and an indoor expansion with splash pad underway! My fur baby knows when I turn onto Reed Rd and rushes the door with excitement to greet his friends, and runs to play! I trust them and know they love my baby like their own! Clover is home away from home!

But all of a sudden I felt my pet was being denied the services they advertised--constantly. Then was told my pet was hard to handle which couldn't be further from the truth-the most loving animal anyone could want-everyone is a friend. Then was falsely accused of something I did not do. But then when my husband was in trauma care 75 miles away and we needed assistance with our baby, they were not concerned nor helpful-- but, in time, I overlooked and forgave that incident with understanding. The kicker was recently when in an emergency I called explaining the severity of my husbands emergency and injury, that he was about to have emergency brain surgery in Ft Worth, I was desperate. There was NOT even the courtesy of RETURNING the call to explain one way or the other--total silence. We were one of their first customers--would have been a life long customer until the mistreatment started. My husband died. I found refuge at Dapper Dog In Acton. WOW!!! I literally can't say enough about them. They jumped right in to assist. Then, before my husband passed away, I had to call to extend my pets stay and they were amazing! Told me not to worry about a thing--they would make room and take good care --just to let them know when to make my pet ready for pickup. When faced with the biggest loss in your life, NOT worrying about your kids is truly a life saver. Too bad Clover Pets doesn't see it that way.
