I have a pair of college speakers from JBL that are still cranking with little sign of fatigue. So, it was a little disconcerting to discover that this once dominant audio brand is now languishing as an orphaned logo under the Harman and Samsung flagships reduced to selling headphones and Bluetooth speakers as a value alternative to Apple, Sennheiser, BOSE and Sony. Maybe they once made sound equipment so well that replacements were never needed requiring multiple owners over the last thirty years to stave off bankruptcy or, that the lower quality expectations of streaming music is now such that mediocre equipment is just good enough. Whatever the rationale, it's sad. Two stars. read more

Right before my trip, I managed to lose my charging cord that came with my JBL speaker that I was also using as a car charger since it had an old USB port. This shop was right off my transit stop, so it made perfect sense to stop on in to see what they had. Greeted right away by a nice guy, I asked if they sold charging cords since I had misplaced mine, and he asked what speaker I had. Looking around quickly, I found a similar model. He went behind a counter, rummaged through a drawer, and brought out a shorter orange cord, telling me I could just take it. Grateful as can be, this is a great substitute until I can find a longer one. Online, it appears that JBL doesn't supply charging cords with some of their speakers (mine was actually the Flip5 which is still available only in black) so if one is needed, they recommend Amazon, etc. Best advice I can give you? Don't lose the cord! read more

I've come to this location a few times once to purchase headphones, for accessory/service inquiries on current products I own, and events. It's a mixed bag when it comes down to service. Some of the staff is friendly. Others are aloof, then there are some who are downright rude. I think i might stick to online purchases and authorized dealers in the future. read more

First, Andre Taylor was so lovely. He was such a pleasure to work with. He sold me the most awesome earbuds. I'm so happy. LIVE BUDS. 3, ($199) are awesome! They have a rich, full deep bass sound that I was looking for. They are Noise cancelling and very crisp. There is a JBL app that I download to control the settings. I mean, you can't get better than that. Andre had extensive knowledge about all the earbuds offered. He explained the difference between all of them. Most of all, he was honest, He answered all my questions with no hesitation. He was not pushy and let me listen to any earbud that I selected. The case is very cool too. See Andre...you will have a great customer service experience: Warm, kind and down to earth, with a nice smile. The store is very Cool with a lot of awesome items to choose from. They let you browse in comfort. I Highly recommend shopping here. I'm going to go back n purchase a small speaker next. Price points are great and quality is excellent. Employees were not helpful and didnt know anything about the product. Like 5 people couldnt answer a simple question. I bought new speakers, and they broke within two months. The customer service was just Awful and dont recommend the store as the product right away and the employees did nothing to help, nothing. No refund, no discount. Just a bad business read more
