All the reps that promise to get you someone to help just dump you back in the same queue. Don't waste time calling their exec offices - the phone robot dumps you into the same queue. I've finally had enough. I've run thousands through Best Buy over the years. They're never going to see another dime.

After looking at the receipt afterward, it appeared that an additional membership/subscription or other charge may have been added that my friend was never clearly informed about. What's even more concerning is that another person apparently had a very similar experience at this same location with a woman working there. Customers should be told about every additional charge before they're added to a transaction, especially when the customer didn't ask for it. I'd recommend checking your receipt carefully before leaving this location and making sure you're only paying for what you actually agreed to.

I repeatedly said no to the insurance, yet she kept pressuring me, lecturing that because it's a $2000 laptop with Copilot it would break, and trying to convince me with discounts and scare tactics. I don't need someone telling me how I'm going to use my own laptop. Then, to top it off, when I asked for a bag, she said they didn't have any. So here I am, a small woman, forced to carry a heavy laptop box through the street while she loudly announces the $2000 price tag for everyone to hear. Absolutely ridiculous and humiliating. No wonder the store was practically empty. Even another customer gave me a strange look during the whole exchange.
