Jack was awesome. Really nice guy chatting me up and telling me jokes while he brought his gear up. We blew the circuits twice because I was trying to run my computer on one of our (3) 10A circuits, yes, that's no typo, but he rolled with the punches and made up for the lost time, Did a hell of a job cleaning my less than 400 sq/ft of carpet and was done in about an hour. Having two dogs in a small apartment was hell on our carpets but after Jack was done, I was very impressed with the results. Highly recommend, and if you aren't honored to have an Olympic Silver Medalist clean your carpet, then you can't call yourself an American. I have been wanting to use this company to clean my carpets for about a year but it's always been a challenge to get an appointment. I don't regret it though because most times I've always needed a last minute appointment and he is a one man show so typically you will need to book at least a week in advance. Finally I was able to plan ahead and have him come in a week or so after booking an advance appointment. I am so impressed with his work, first off, he showed up on time and spent about two hours cleaning my living/dining room area, small hallway, and love seat. His method is different from the standard truck mount machines I'm used to seeing but it works and works well. My carpets are not bad but there are stains that I couldn't get out with my own machine that he was able to remove. He also made my microfiber love seat look amazing. I had so much caked on dog oils/gunk (yes gross I know) from years of my two 50lb dogs thinking the love seat was their personal grooming area/sleeping space. He took extra time and work to make sure he removed all that gunk and junk and it smells fresh and clean (he uses a citrus based cleaner). We are expecting our fist child in a week and I wanted the love seat clean so I can feed him there without smelling scent of dog and he made the smell part a reality. In addition to his work ethic, he charges a lot less than other places. The carpet areas he initially quoted $45 but after seeing the hallway was not as long as he thought, he dropped it down to $40. He charged $25 for the love seat so all in all $65 for the whole shibang. I think that is more than fair for the quality of work. He is also a super nice guy on top of it. Yes trying to book an appointment might be a little bit of a pain but remember this guy is a one man business. Unless it's the holidays, he can typically be booked a week in advance. I also recommend that you move your furniture and prep appropriately before he gets there. He doesn't have the fancy furniture covers that can be put on the bottom of wooden furniture legs if say if you have a wooden dining table. If you have pets I would also recommend vacuuming before hand so you can pick up the pet hair in the carpets. This will ensure that his cleaning system is focusing on removing dirt and stains as opposed to pet hair. I do this regardless of the company and prior to cleaning my carpets with my at home Bissell system. read more

Recently saw his ad on Craigslist and saw the deal he advertises which is a very good deal! He's work is very good and very professional! He did two rooms for $40 which is a deal breaker! I've seen other companies that charge more just for 1 room. He also did our stairs and it turned out very clean and smelled really fresh and looked brand new! I would definitely refer this man coming to help your place look brand new again! Definitely will be contacting him again if I need to get my carpet clean again. I hired Jack based on the prices on his website and the reviews on yelp. I originally was going to go with a company that was recommended to me, but their prices were more than double the price that he quoted me. Not only was I impressed (and shocked) at how reasonable his prices were, but also that he was a very honest and hardworking man. I needed to have my carpets cleaned for a move-out. He informed me that he doesn't take checks for move outs, which was fine I had already gotten cash out of the ATM expecting to pay cash. My apartment was a little under 1,000 square feet. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom condo with no carpet in the hallway. He quoted me over the phone $65 dollars. My mouth dropped at this point and I immediately booked him (the other company wanted $130 plus an extra $20 for bringing their portable unit and that was only the quote). When he got to my apartment he walked through it and said it was going to be $65. He said there were a few stains that he wasn't sure were going to come out, which worried me because my old landlord was a total snot about the carpet. (Not only did he get them out he made the carpet look brand new again!). I will definitely be hiring him again for future move-outs, and annually if we stay in our apartment for more than a year. Jack is a hard-worker. He cleaned my condo in under two hours and did a SPECTACULAR job. I would recommend him to anyone that needed to have their carpets cleaned and wants a fair, honest, and reliable company. Personally I would rather support a small business than a large company that is going to try to upsell me and could care less about what they are doing or who I am. He might not have all their fancy gadgets, but he does one helluva good job and he's an interesting character to boot! My recommendation? Call two weeks in advance, because he books up quickly. And tip him! He deserves it for how hard he works! I know he was worth every penny! read more

Great job and very good price. He cleaned two large rooms and hallway and the work is very detailed. Only problem is his prices are so low. So I padded a little extra. You can walk on the carpet right away, but with no shoes because it is a bit moist. But he said to leave the windows open and it should dry up in a couple hours. Great job JB! It was by coincidence that I accidentally had hired Jack twice in my 5 years living here in San Diego! I was very happy with the result for both times! Jack runs a honest and great business. Although he doesn't have all that fancy technologies I imagine other competitors may have, he is reliable and hard working. The number for the business is his cellphone. He is not great with texting he said so he will get on the phone with ya. He will give you an estimate base on what you tell him your situation is (carpet area, tricky corners, dirtiness, 2nd floors) and I find his estimate very affordable! Jack also is very punctual and quite interesting to talk to. He will come to your place with this cleaning machine (looks like a big old school vacuum) and he'll need to connect to a hot water source and dumpout the dirt his machine sucked up (water, stuff in the carpet) and usually those go in the toilet/tub or trash. Both of my jobs (2-3 bedroom house/apt) took 2 hours to clean and about overnight to dry completely. Really good price for the service, cash only, and tip well! :) I highly recommend this business! Also, if you have him slaving away cleaning your dirty carpets and you find yourself wanting to be social, ask him about his life stories, he's an interesting man! read more

We just had our carpets clean today and let me just say our carpets are horrible. We have 5 children and 2 puppies and have lots of traffic all day coming in and out.
