The food was delicious! My favorite was the funnel cake fries

My family has a decade+ of bowling on NYE This was our 1st time celebrating at JB's. I can't compliment the Manager, Ashley & her entire staff enough!!! She was completely booked, yet made an exception to squeeze my family in. She is an absolutely amazing person and we had the best NYE celebration. I couldn't imagine ever going elsewhere after that night. Thank you & your amazing team Ashley. You truly are the BEST! God bless you ALL!

This was a long time bookmark that I knew one day that I would stop for a beer and wings because I like to do that once in a while. The place is spectacular and nothing like your parents bowling alley because it's modern and shiny/clean and really a family fun destination with a huge open bowling alley, game room that's closed off probably for C19, a dark alley with laser lights, bar, restaurant etc etc. The woman who served me was friendly and took care of me right away. They have a nice little bar in the dark alley section that has a few taps so I ordered the angry orchard that was cold and refreshing on a summer day. I was going to get out of my comfort zone of buffalo wings and get a different flavor today so I ordered the garlic Parmesan for a change that was sauced and came with a blue cheese dipper and celery/carrots. I have to say that for a bowling alley the wings looked impressive and not the skimpy small ones with approximately 10 wings and they smelled amazing. My first thought after my first bite was that these wings are fuc#ing delicious with a nice crispy shell. The wings were meaty, moist, and cooked perfect with no rubbery/stringy meat like some places serve. The blue cheese sauce was a little different but still good. In all honesty I have to say that the wings that I had today was some of the better wings that I have had and better than some of the hyped places on the Milwaukee best wings list that disappointed me. That list still amazes me because Milwaukee has some hidden gems when it comes to wings that have no mention anywhere. This is an easy stop on my way home from work so this just might be my go to wing place out of convenience but it didn't topple my favorite wing place but it's right there.

Took 175 students on a field trip and things went great. Food was excellent and the kids really loved it.

We were very impressed, it was a busy night (Halloween), but we still received first class service!

If you are not a guest at the resort can I purchase tickets for the water park?

Hi Sarah. Thanks for your question, however we do not have a water park at our family fun center. We do feature 25 lanes of bowling, 10 lanes of luxury suite bowling, a fully digital arcade and redemption prize center, The Junction Bar & Grill, and… Read more

All I came here for was mini bowling, and I got that in spades. It was a Sunday night, so two lanes were open with no reservation needed. I opened a tab at the bar, headed back to the awaiting lanes, and proceeded two bowl a couple games in quick succession. Unless you have a large crew, there won't be much sit and wait time, like on a regular lane. Note that it is manual scoring. They do provide a cheat sheet to help with this, and it may help as well to number your frames, just in case you get lost in all the up and down. Since it is residential, you might have to circle the block a few times to find parking, but don't let that deter you. A walk back to the car might be the perfect excuse to stop by the food truck across the street.

Location is a little sketchy, and this is definitely a dive bar at its finest, but the real star of the show is the duck pin bowling located in the back. For those not familiar, it's a much shorter, elevated lane than regular bowling. Select from different weighted, softball size balls and roll it down the lane. It's much easier than regular bowling and scores tend to be high, so it's a nice ego boost and tons of fun! And instead of a machine re-racking the pins, there are teenagers that sit back there to set them up. Tips: Cash only for the bowling which is $5 dollars a person. Make sure to tip your pin setters! Its best to call in advance to reserve a lane, but walk ins welcome. There are four lanes and you can rent one or more for an hour and a half each. They bowl super late, and is an awesome spot to hang out with a group and play a few rounds! Come knock some pins down at this legendary spot!

We visited on a Tuesday and tickets were only $8! Not sure if that was just a special, but seems damn cheap compared to typical visits to a movie theatre. The seats were comfy as can be - couch style, recline all the way back, and are headed! We saw the F1 movie (which was fantastic), and the whole surround sound system here made it that much more enjoyable. If you're looking for something beyond popcorn, candy, and sodas, they do have a restaurant attached where you can get apps, entrees, and alcoholic drinks to-go (i.e. to take into the theatre with you). I'm sure many folks in the area, like myself, are used to the Marcus Theatres where you can have food delivered to your seat, but just a heads up that isn't the case here. Seemed a bit understaffed overall, as lines were long and service was pretty darn slow, but everything we purchased hit the spot. I mean who doesn't love buttery popcorn at the cinema!?

An icon in Milwaukee, and it took us many years to make it here…read more We have a current date night tradition to break us out of our normal rut by making our way through the alphabet by location each month, and we're on our second round of the alphabet, which led us to H. There are not a lot of H places on our list, and Holler House is legendary, so we figured we needed to hit it up now since it takes us about two years to get through the alphabet! We made reservations for the lanes in advance online, the owners greeted us when we arrived, shared some great history of the place and gave us some tips for ordering pizza from nearby Ned's (which we also had never tried) since we hadn't had dinner yet, and we had two hours of lane time. We learned that the back bar is the same as Wolski's, and once I heard that I recognized the stained glass motif flanking the ends of the bar. The two lanes are down a flight of carpeted stairs and there are four seats down there as well as holders on the wall for your drinks and a teeny women's room tucked off one of the lanes. Scoring is done by paper the old fashioned way unless you want to use an app. We had some friends who were willing to tag along to watch us and or/bowl some really low scores, and we had a good time. Max was our pinsetter and did a stellar job setting the pins back up and sending our balls back our way. In the bowling alley, you can play Touch Tunes, but we ended up forgoing the music and just enjoying the games and camaraderie. While we were bowling, the upstairs was transformed into a cribbage tournament space, and the place was full with players, but not overly loud despite the crowd. I noticed they had a selection of wines (and it wasn't the single serve Sutter Home/Yellow Tail), but expecting more of a dive bar selection I had already gone with vodka tonics, which were tasty at $5. Cathy made sure we were enjoying ourselves, and the owners seem to have themselves a great neighborhood place where they are carrying on the family history. If you haven't been and have thought about going, go. Do it.
