In fact he offered to credit the service call toward the purchase of a new AC, if I decided to go with his company. Two months later, when I had the same problem, I called him back and placed an order for a new unit. He still honored the credit for the service call after two months. The crew of Sergei and Vadim were so professional and efficient. I was so impressed with their work and detail to cleanliness. The installation, testing and clean-up was impeccable. This time I needed HVAC service because my Air Conditioner stopped working during this awful heat-wave and despite being super busy & being around a holiday weekend, Honorable Air was able to come out in less than 48 hours from when I called them - which is amazing and I really appreciated! Today I had the pleasure of having Jesse as my technician (he is the owner and brother of Jeremy who was the awesome technician I had last time). Both brothers truly are honorable, as I was charged fairly and given options for upgrading items on my unit. I never felt pressured and Jesse was very fair-balanced explaining what was optional vs his recommendations, etc. Jesse is very knowledgeable and kind! As a woman, often we ladies aren't treated as well by contractors, but that was NOT the case with Jesse! Jessie treated me very respectfully and never 'mansplained' me and never made me feel dumb (not even when one of the issues with the AC was something I could have easily remedied on my own). Jesse was extremely professional, attentive and considerate! Truly honorable!! The best part is that Jesse had the part I needed already in his work van, so he was able to install it immediately and I didn't have to wait for him to order the part or go pick it up - as he was able to fix everything the same visit! My house is already cool again and I'm so thankful that the entire experience was so fast and efficient! What I also appreciated was how Jesse educated me on preventative care for my HVAC unit so I can keep it running without problems/service for longer. I will totally put his tips to use - as one tip was that I wasn't changing my air filters frequently enough, which was putting unneeded stress on my system (and that is a simple fix to make!). I also had a question about some HVAC products I had seen online and he was able to give me his professional opinion that one was gimmicky/not worth my money but the other would be worth looking into. When the repair guy told me there was no warranty on the work because my AC was so old, I knew it was time to stop throwing money at it and replace the whole thing. I started calling around and getting quotes from several HVAC companies. Surprisingly, the pricing was all pretty similar. The big difference was the equipment. A lot of the companies were quoting brands I either hadn't heard of or didn't have much confidence in. Evolution was the only company I spoke with that was using American Standard and really stood behind the quality of the equipment they were installing. That ultimately made the decision for me. The entire process with Evolution was professional and easy. They showed up, got to work, and had the full installation completed in about 5 to 6 hours. I was expecting the house to be without AC most of the day, but they got everything done much faster than I expected. We've had the new system running and love it. The first thing we noticed was how QUIET it is. Our old condenser was so loud that you always knew when it kicked on. They sent another company, I didn't get any "pre-paid" service but was quoted $3,300+ to fix it. I was graciously offered a short term fix for $1,000+ and charged $89.00 for coming out. Bait & switch, I'll get my heater fixed by another company.
