Scott was very polite, friendly and professional. He thoroughly inspected the furnace and thermostat and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Fortunately, I did not need to replace the furnace. Within a few days, Scott returned and replaced the necessary parts and installed a new thermostat. I waited a couple of months to see how well the furnace operated during these winter months. Now, I am pleased to announce that everything works perfectly. Scott, and AAA Calvert, receive superior marks. I did my homework and reached out to a few contractors, including Gominisplit, to collect some quotes. I met with several other contractors, who did not show up to estimate appointments, were blatantly rude, and tried to upsell me things I did not need. Jose was a gem. He responded quickly to my inquiry and was punctual for my home walkthrough as well as all visits thereafter. He made sound recommendations and provided a competitive and fair estimate. I hired him because he was honest and easy to work with. He speaks English and Spanish, which was helpful because my dad speaks Spanish and he's the one who mainly coordinated with Jose. He worked very quickly with one other person and had our three bedrooms and living room area up and running in a couple of days. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs minisplits for their home. An update on my past review of this company. I was very dissatisfied with the treatment and the…read moreservice I received upon calling back this company to check on my Hvac system. I replaced a few components that were suggested by the Technician. However, I made the mistake of not reversing the fan to my condensing unit causing my compressor to blow. I called out the Technician to confirm he worked on the unit for roughly 15 minutes then I was approached by him with a hard sell to replace my heating and air conditioning with prices ranging from 15,000 to 32,000 I received a hard sale for longer than the Technician worked on the unit, then after not agreeing to make a purchase, I was charged $200 which I feel was very unfair for the amount of time that Technician spent on the unit . Like I mentioned that Technician tried to sell me a whole new system longer than he actually did any work on my condensing unit. I had another company come out and give me a price to replace my compressor. Upon that company coming out I noticed two things that were disturbing to me. I've included pictures. Lesson learned.
