And also for averaging with the little good: The foreman who worked my project, Fernando, was the only person I spoke to, beginning to end who seemed interested in doing anything other than making a sale (front end) and doing as little as possible (Warranty Team). Fernando was invested in keeping me updated, left a clean worksite each night, was kind to his team. He was a pleasure to work with. The rest of the company seems like a nepo organization, starting with the least knowledgeable and trustworthy sales team I've encountered in years. However, I was in need of a security fence ASAP and ultimately was sold because of the timeline, the quality of the fence itself, 0% APR for financing, and the "warranty." Unfortunately, I found out within one day of the project completion that the Warranty Team would be the worst at Cool Cat yet. Negative Stars: One of the locks was put on backward (meaning someone could unscrew the mounting from the outside). Further, because of the direction and function of the lock, it remained locked on the outside when the inside lock was disengaged. This is a significant fire and safety risk if the only way out of my yard is through that gate or somehow over the 6 foot fence. I contacted Dan the morning after the project closed to apprise them (7/30) and I didn't get a response until 8/3. I got the Warranty Manager's number (Joe) and communicated with him. Artur and some other unfriendly person came on 8/7 to fix. I checked in multiple times and when they were finished, I asked about the multiple drilled holes that were now exposed and tape instead of a cap on one of the rails. He said he didn't have anything to fix it with him today and I asked him to come back and fix it. That was one month ago. My $27k fence has eye sores all over the gate and now with the rain setting in, the exposed metal is showing the beginnings of rust. And I have not heard back from anyone. WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

They also power-washed the old fence and stained it. Their estimate came in at a reasonable rate, and they did the work promptly, over a span of a few days, immediately after we accepted their bid. We can't recommend Reggie (RL Quality Construction) more highly. Others who came out suggested replacing the entire fence or, at the minimum, portions of it. Reggie looked the project over, understood my needs, and came up with a cost-effective plan that kept the costs down and resulted in a handsome fence consistent with its original design. However, the heroes of the project were Michael + Jonathan who built our fence. The took out the prior fence and checked in with our 96 yr old neighbor that we share the fence with to make sure he approved. He did! The walked me thru the finished fence and even added a "puppy protector" mini fence to keep our dog contained. They were super respectful, kind and FAST. My experience with attempting to buy one of their homes was bad enough to warrant a review…read more We had a very negative experience with making an offer on one of there new construction homes. We made a full price offer but asked for a couple concessions and also included a 4 day deadline for an answer. This is pretty typical when negotiating. They chose not to respond till just after the deadline. They declined our offer altogether. They sent over a offer that showed what they would charge for any changes we wanted to make which was well over retail. Demanded payment for any upgrades immediately after closing. And raised the asking price of the home to above what it was listed for. I have never heard of a builder or seller coming back with higher than asking price. As it turns out, upon further investigating, they have a really terrible history of not completing houses properly and performing sub-par work. I think we dodged a bullet. I hope i can help someone else dodge a bullet as well and recommend they look elsewhere for a home.

UPDATE: We finally pulled up some carpet and found that the…read moresubfloor is actually put down with regular nails. This isn't to building code. The floors squeak so badly now that we have decided to pull out all the flooring to fix it. Our quote to have this done is over $32,000. We contacted the Construction Contractor's Board, and they said that we should take the builder to court. We're also planning to speak to our neighbors to see if they're having the same problems with their houses.
