I recently started getting dipped nails, which I have never done previously and every time I have gotten them done they have lasted an entire month without chipping, cracking or breaking. Each of the last three manicures I had included no cuticle prep. They just filed the nail plate down, put on the dehydrator, and did the dip. My actual nails were completely ruined in the process. I have strong nails that I take care of, but after the last few manicures I was left with extremely thin, weak nails. I actually had to take SIX WEEKS off of having anything on my nails so that I could grow them back out. That's how bad of shape my nails were left in.
