I love that this is a home based day care that has more than enough space for the pups to run. Kathryn, her brother, and her husband are EXCEPTIONAL. I first used them when I went to Thailand for 2 weeks and again when I went to Hawaii for a week. The pups had not been there in a year and KNEW where they were going and were ecstatic when we turned into their street. My golden has a lot of health issues and her medication regime has never an issue. My malamute mix has anxiety and can sometimes mount, and again never an issue. He's also not very trusting so the fact that he is happy is so reassuring. I LOVE that Kathryn will send me videos and pictures of my babies next to her human baby coexisting. It really is family owned. I rather make the 1-2hr drive and take them here than go anywhere else. I can go on vacation and have peace of mind that my babies are not just being taken cared of but also being loved on. Don't look further, bring your fur babies here!

The owner is great, the facility is kept clean, the dogs are out all day, have access to be inside in air condition if they want, and have room to roam. My dog loves it there and we get pictures of how his day went without charge. The prices are good and the staff is very friendly. I am so happy with how my husky is taken care of and feel that Cool Dog Ranch is a very safe and happy place for him to be. And so does he!!

When we picked her up, her eye was severely swollen shut -- clearly far worse than what we were told. Emergency and follow-up vets later confirmed it was multiple bite wounds, not a scratch. What's even more frustrating is what happened after. We were told there would be an investigation and possible reimbursement, but it has now been over 2 months with: No report No communication No accountability We trusted them with our dog's safety, and both the incident and the lack of follow-up have been extremely disappointing. I would strongly urge others to be cautious.

Before you can do any of this you'll need to have a meet & greet furst to ensure that this us a suitable option for your pup. They have separate play areas that are determined by a dogs size I believe. If you're interested in seeing how your dog is doing there is a Webcam for you to check. The dogs have a nap time as well mid day and during this time camera access is not available. What I love the most about Dogtopia though is they have a themed picture day almost once a month! I'm one 9f those dog moms that thinks everything my dog does is adorable so this is perfect, lol. I personally am a certified dog trainer for a large pet store and while they are amazing for the basics I wanted a more expert opinion when it comes to more extensive dog training. I have a 4 year old Maltese who I've self trained as a a psychiatric service dog. Nacho is wonderful very well mannered, but has always had a bit of his own anxiety. Since I'm up to date on lots of training methods and I wanted his advice personally, he agreed to doing a private session with me. I brought everything for the session, his fancy FI dog collar that tracks him, his working vest, short lead, distance lead, his e-collar and of course treats. I told him that the e collar training I've done with him is modified as I don't have one that shocks only noise and vibration. He said while he gets results almost immediate with a classic e-collar conditioning, he is willing to do whatever I am most comfortable with. Nacho has off leash recall but only conditioned with the vibration, and because he's only 7 pounds and I got the most lightweight vibration collar I modified it to be on the back of his harness which works perfect. Again Vince will only do whatever you're comfortable with and better yet he'll explain the reasoning of how each training tool is used and why it works. While I know Vince could have gotten my dog to do 4x as many commands in the time frame that we spent working, it was more important for me to learn what he was preaching and my god was it amazing! Everything started to click and make sense which gave me so much more confidence in myself and my boy Nacho. I can tell he has had many years of experience and if I ever have any more concerns or questions I will happily put money down to see him again. Any dogs that I come across that need behavioral help will be going his way. While it can be pricey it is so worth it! Take the time to get his advice and opinion it's well worth it!
