We are very satisfied with the tree pruning services. Very responsive to inquiries and estimates given were prompt and outlined clearly. Proof of insurance provided, very reasonable rates, not the cheapest out of the estimates we received but less than half of some other quotes. We had a crazy tall liquid amber tree in front that really needed to be trimmed heavily. I really did not want a hack job from someone who had no idea what he was doing (been there, done that, never again) Javier Sr and his team did a great job on the liquid amber as well as the other trees around the property. You could tell there's some level of artistic considerations driving the tree pruning process. Excellent service and very reasonable price. We had to remove a eucalyptus tree that was leaning on the wall. Javier's quote came in at the lowest. He was the only one who said that we needed to get a permit, which was the law. Everyone else ignored that. Crew showed up on time and finished everything as promise, including a great clean up. These guys are great! We have had terrible experiences using tree trimmers we found on Yelp, to the point where I thought I could no longer trust Yelp at all. But we had a great experience with JC. Three guys came out, with the lead trimmer speaking great English. He clearly understands that trees need to be trimmed correctly in order to grow nice, and that just lopping off top branches will lead to a bushy and top-heavy tree. They were so careful, damaged nothing, left our yard totally clean, and their price was very reasonable. Best of all, we had a hummingbird nest with eggs on a low branch hanging over our side yard access where these guys had to walk with their equipment and all the tree debris. They were SO careful to not hurt our little bird's nest, minimizing trips past the nest, marking the nest branch with caution tape, and carrying all debris branches low to the ground. Javier and his crew did a wonderful job on our property. The crew trimmed about half of excessive-grown Jupiter bushes to gain more space for the back yard so we can plant a lawn in later date. While trimming the Jupiter bushes, they helped to remove and set aside the dry rot fence. They also also reduced Privet tree and edged multiple bushes. Javier's dad answered all of our questions and concerns as well as explained our plants characters. They hauled everything that they cut. JC Tree Experts came today to cut down two very tall Ironwoid trees and thinned out a very tall ash. I can't say they came on time, because they were actually here about 20 minutes early! They did a superb job, cleaned up and were very quick. At the last minute I asked them to get rid of the roots from large wisteria and they were happy to do so. They also cleared a few small branches from our tree that was hanging on our neighbors roof. Not only was the job very well done but the price was very reasonable, The workers very friendly and polite and JC tree experts were significantly less than the highest bid I got. This is a bit of a different type of review because my interaction with JC Tree Experts (Javier) has been as a source of wood for woodturning. Javier has been very accommodating over the past two years allowing me access to the trees he has cut down. I use the wood he has given me at no charge and turn it on a lathe. The items I make are then sold with the proceeds going to one of my favorite charities (Cat House on the Kings a cat rescue organization) This keeps my overhead cost down so I can donate more to the charity. JC Tree Experts came with a four man crew and did an excellent job climbing our three 30-plus deodar pines to trim. Can see daylight now through the branches. I hired JC to remove some shrubs, hedges, a small tree and to grind down several (10) tree stumps. I thought the price was fair even though it wasn't the lowest quote. The communication was good and they started the job in reasonable amount of time. When they showed up, they did all I asked. Some if the stumps were not finished because the old fence was in the way. Once the fence was removed, the stump grinder came back out to finish the job. On my recommendation, my neighbor had a huge street tree removed. They showed up on time and did a great job removing it and grinding the stump. I will use them again and recommend them to friends. read more
