I got to visit my hometown today and was invited to this lil wing spot in the middle of town. I'm gonna preface this with I'm not a wing guy. However, JC Sings really did a good job! The wings were super flavorful, the temperature was great, nice crunch, & the price didn't break the bank. This was what I ordered for lunch and these are my leftovers! The portions were very generous and the price was very reasonable considering wings can be super pricey. They only get 4/5 stars because when I used the restroom the urinal was broken and did not blush. It was full of urine and it kind of grossed me out. Aside from that I would have given them a 5/5. I WAS... a regular. My last two visits sorely disappointed. The last visit was the straw that broke the camel's back! This cat y'all have managing the La Feria location is going to run it into the ground! My last visit was actually a "date night" pick. The kid y'all have drawing drafts, has absolutely no idea what he's doing! Then we ordered. Ordered the sampler. The waiter or whatever he is... came back twice stating, they were out of one or more of the items on the sampler. For the inconvenience, I suggested on menus substitutions. On the third trip, this so-called manager came to the table and stated that there will be an "up charge" for the substitutions. No negotiation. RIDICULOUS! If you can't provide what's on the menu, and ask the patron for substitutions... then SUBSTITUTE! I'd been going for years and often. I have recommended to dozens and my fraternal organization has frequented many times as a large group . Wasn't interested in a third strike. Y'all get rid of this clown of a manager I MIGHT consider returning. Until then... Tipsy Tavern, Harlingen, TX., gets my business. read more

THESE WINGS ARE FKN GOOD!!! (Bring a jacket it's cold in here!) I am legit blown away by the size of wings and the price you get. They hit the seasoning on the wings spot on. The seasoned fries are good but better mixed with the ketchup. The wings taste so home made but better I can't put my finger on it. I called JC Wings La Feria because I could not find a menu on line. Carlos, the manager that took the call said they didnt have any menus online. They use to but the prices were out dated so the are no longer available. I asked him to email, iMessenger or post one on the Facebook page so I could order and he said those are not options. Well no wonder businesses are failing these days. Their San Benito locations is hardly open. Shame on you Carlos for not helping the sells of a restaurant you have been entrusted to manage. My husband and I took a motorcycle ride out there after a friend recommended it. It was definitely a hidden gem! The beer was cold! I ordered a jc bird sandwich and I have to say that's the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Bread tasted homemade it was just so good! My husband got the calzone it was such a good size portion all our food and he loved every last bite. The have very good fresh pizza collections that are unique. Definitely recommend! read more

Glad to snag this first review. JC Wing Company is still relatively new, and I'm very glad to see it still open. As one of the few family-owned restaurants in town, JC Wing Co. (hereafter referred to as JCW) seems to want to do things right! The first time I went over a year ago and had a good burger. Nothing fancy, but burger was thick & juicy, and pretty standard. Would order it again, but not the best I've ever had or anything. Went back a few months ago and had some wings, and I was definitely satisfied. I had a few hot and a few Lemon Pepper, all of them were good-sized wings with plenty of flavor. I can't say that they are better than their competitors out in Edinburg (wont name), but if I'm in La Feria, I'm always down to stop in for dinner or at least enjoy the drink specials, which they aren't stingy with! The owner is very friendly, reminds me of Juan (in a Million, from Austin) in that he never hesitates to stop by your table personally to say hi. There's 3 or 4 big tvs on the walls, and with plenty of beers to choose from, they are honestly the first great spot to sit and watch a game in La Feria! Very well done JCW! read more

Excellent burger, juicy and fresh hand made patty. Not the frozen patties most restaurants use. The bread was soft and flavorful. We ordered wings too. They were served hot, you could tell they had not been sitting on the counter for very long. Great flavor and good size wings. read more

I came here after eating at their sister location in San Benito for the last few years. The biggest difference between the two is this location has burgers and sandwiches, whereas the other location has pizza. When I entered the restaurant I noticed it looked more like a bar than a restaurant, but it is still a restaurant as I did not see any 51% signs at the entrance. I ordered the build-a-burger, with 4 toppings: cheese, chili, avocado, and grilled jalapenos. It took a while to get the food and that is because it is handmade with the freshest ingredients. The burger was amazing and so were the curly fries it came with. It was also a bountiful amount of curly fries as well, all for under $10! They have more beers on tap than their sister location, which makes sense given this one has more of a bar feel. Don't let this place pass you by. The dive-bar look gave this a chill atmosphere although I noticed a lot of people were coming in for takeout. The inside was just the way I like it - chill and not overly loud. I was able to have some good discussions with my friends, with one of the discussions being how good this place is and how we'll be coming here a lot more often. read more

Went to have dinner with family that came down from Seattle. There was a massive cockroach on the ceiling over our table and the staff wanted to knock it off with a broom over our eating area! If that wasn't enough, we witnessed the rude owner marching down the street to the local bar next door to demand anyone who parked in their parking lot to move their cars. At almost 1 am - hours after the restaurant closed. Is that even necessary? It's as if they want to drive customers away while in the restaurant and out. If you're picky about your wings don't go here...... if you want the skin on the chicken to be crispy before they slather the sauce on......don't go here ...drive the extra mile and go to wing stop. I've been enjoying JCs in La Feria for a few years now. Still a good place to eat but I've noticed a steady decline in food and service. The boneless wings once upon a time were a good size. Now they're half the size. They won't let you mix your wing flavors like 4 hot and 5 lemon pepper like they used to. Staff is mostly new. read more

They give you a short expected wait time and then take over an hour to complete your order without explanation. Asked to speak to a manager and was told no one was available.
