I originally wanted marble, but he explained how fragile it is and how easily it can crack or chip compared to granite or quartz. I'm glad I listened, because he showed me this quartz called Calacatta Savoy that happened to be on sale and I love it more than the marble I saw online. The colors look amazing in person and really made the whole kitchen pop. The install was also way faster than I expected, and everything came out super clean. The cabinets look great and the countertops really tied everything together. Overall just a really smooth experience from start to finish. Definitely recommend them.

Georgia Dream Kitchens installed all of the granite in my new construction. In less than a year we had 3 pieces crack, one even cracked in 2 places. As someone who has lived in many places during my years of training in medicine, this is not normal. The first crack we noticed was shortly after moving in. It was in one of the bathrooms. Our kitchen is made up of 3 slabs. One broke in two places which the owner agreed was due to installation or transportation. Since we are still under our 1 year warranty, he agreed to replace it. He went completely MIA for months despite assuring us he would keep an eye out for a slab that matched. When we reached back out because we never heard back from him, he sent us a photo of a slab that would have worked. Of course, slabs aren't uniform but logically you would think he would have cut from the area that actually matched. I still have the photos he sent and I'm happy to share. For some reason he opted to cut where there was only gray, however my countertops are gray and brown. It looks atrocious and he ruined our kitchen. It wasn't until after this debacle that he said it is impossible to make it look acceptable if the slabs aren't from the same "bundle". We agreed to work together. We discussed the Taj Mahal/Madre Perola that I had had in NJ and liked very much. He stated to me that for about the same amount I paid for my bathrooms granite in NJ I could redo the whole kitchen with the Taj Mahal/Madre Perola for about the same cost of $3000. We agreed I would pay an additional $3000, and we would replace everything with the upgraded, more durable stone. At the last second, his daughter told me that it would be $8000 to replace it all, and that's with him meeting us part of the way since the initial crack was his fault. I was appalled and went out and did some calling around and visiting granite fabricators. No other company gave me a price this high and he supposedly was meeting us part of the way. Give me a break. In any event, I asked to speak with him and he opted not to call. This is the kind of business he is doing. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere that knows how to handle a piece of granite without breaking it. It's not worth the time and you'll end up having to pay for it all over again. Find a company that stands by their work.

I first called and spoke with Javier who asked me to text him pics etc. he got back to me the same day. I sent him pictures of what needed to be done and he was very detailed about the questions asked me. This told me he was very serious about taking this job because I reached out to another company (Alcaraz) and sent them all the same info and they ghosted me but, I'm glad they did. Anyway, once we set the date and time he was super communicative, the whole time. He showed up on time with all of his materials ready to work. Once the hole was covered he even went to Home Depot to get the exact color paint for my ceiling. I felt very comfortable with Javier who was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I feel I received a fair price for the work that was done. He definitely went above and beyond and I can't even tell where that hole was before, he did a great job and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I'd most definitely hire him for any work I need in the future.

Con south saved me $20,000 and helped fix an issue from a different grader/company…read more Short story - I hired a different company to do grading and unfortunately they had a different vision and tried to sell me the idea that grading to be done would include a retaining wall. This is where Jason @ Con South came in to save the day and my butt. Not only was Jason professional and didn't try to give me any BS and was a straight shooter, honest, reliable. He is the type of contractor that will look you in the eye and tell you I can help. Its rare that you come across someone with such integrity. If you with with hard-working and and honest guy, then ConSouth is the right place. I am so blown away by the quality of the work... that I am writing a thesis that explains what happened. (see my pictures) Long Story - I cleared out about 1/8 acre in my yard that included some over 30+ trees and steep terrain so that I could get a backyard where I could extend my deck and include modern/shed. Unfortunately, I did not talk to ConSouth and hired another company. After 3+ days of grading, this other company was selling my the idea that I would need retaining wall to support my backyard..... Wait, I never wanted a wall only grading so that I could build things. Oh, by the way the quotes I was getting for a retaining wall was between $21,000 to $16,000, plus thousands I already paid this other company to do the grading. So this when I called Jason at ConSouth. I realized that I hired the wrong company and Jason provided me some frank advice and said he could work with me. Not only was he able to get rid of poorly managed grading from the other company, he moved tree stumps the size smalls cars out of the backyard that was previously left from the other company with his bobcat that the other company would not do. After two days of redoing the work, the backyard was exactly what I asked for. Perfection. Im finally a happy camper and my wife was also ecstatic with the work done on our backyard.
