I was charged $400 for the wedding album but what I received looked like one of those small, skinny albums you can get half off on Shutterfly or Walmart Photo. They didn't follow through with the itinerary of photos we had previously agreed upon on paper. There were hardly any shots of us with our family and very few of our reception. They weren't in the room for the bouquet toss or garter toss so they missed all that. Thank God for our videographer! They were unwilling to take a tour of the venue beforehand even though the management was so graciously inviting them so they could get a feel for the place and show them some good spots to take photos. It was just a mess. They didn't have their stuff together and they weren't as professional as they should've been. It's the one thing I regret about our wedding. And if I could go back and do it over again, I'd choose another photographer. I give them 2 stars because the few photos I did get seem to be of good quality. They didn't all have the best angles or moments, but at least they edited them to look better.

Joelyn was quick to respond to any and all of my emails. When my daughter scheduled her engagement photos, Joelyn and Doug arrived early at the location. They took fantastic engagement pictures of my daughter and fiance. From that point on, we knew we found the right photographer. On the day of the wedding, we told them what time to be at the church and they arrived a few minutes early (coming from Cypress to Sugar Land). They took great care in getting the correct lighting and poses as my daughter was getting dressed. They never pressure my daughter to pose for anything she didn't want. They took time with the first look pictures and made sure all the family shots were good. If they noticed something wrong, they'd take another photo. At the reception, they took several pictures and honor any guest requests. It was so easy working with them. We actually felt so comfortable with them, we had them eat inside the reception room with all the guests instead of a room reserved for the vendors. I cannot recommend them enough. On the day of the shoot we pulled up to the location and it seems a bit seedy but we saw other families parking as well. Once inside she was booked solid. All good signs. She worked with our family and even though our kids cried a lot she was able to capture a few good shots for our Christmas cards. He sets a very firm timeline of expectations. Even our florist, who has been awaiting our professional photos to showcase her floral arrangements, called this the "worst" photography she has ever seen, and she has been in the business for a long time. We wanted a dark and moody style and made that abundantly clear during our consultation. Instead, they used a "light and airy" editing style and relied on bright flashes all night. As a result, you can't even see the candlelight in the venue or appreciate the beautiful colors. When I requested a consultation to discuss how they messed up, they tried to gaslight me into believing these photos were good! The images were taken from unflattering angles and about 30% of them included the second photographer. It honestly looked like someone's mom took the photos! Every single one of my ceremony photos had the other photographer in them, and they claimed these pictures were quality work! It blows my mind!
