Horrible customer service skills. No point in making an appointment since they take people in first come first serve.

From the very beginning, they were fantastic communicators, helping me with everything from choosing the location to discussing the overall style of the shoot. On the day of the session, they were warm, funny, and made everyone feel completely at ease. They were the perfect team to capture our family's memories. It was especially helpful that they spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin, which made communicating with my parents-in-law so much easier. Even more impressively, they somehow managed to get my cranky 9-month-old engaged and smiling throughout the session! And of course, the photos were absolutely stunning. The perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful experience. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and will definitely be booking Dave and Florence again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented photographers who truly know how to make the experience enjoyable for the whole family.

It's always a pleasure working with them as they have so much patience and expertise to get 'that' shot! Highly recommend for anyone looking to capture precious moments! I only included pictures of my daughter and I, but at this point, this lovely couple has helped us capture moments with grandma, grandpa, great grandma, great grandpa, uncles, aunts and even another additional this year. Thank you guys so much! I'm excited to have these to show my daughter when she's older.

Two years apart, and both sessions were equally beautiful, fun, and everything I could have hoped for. What sets Janice apart isn't just her incredible eye for a photo - it's how genuinely present and thoughtful she is with my whole family. She was extremely patient and gentle with my newborn, and made my two year old feel completely at ease by leaning right into all the toys she kept eagerly showing off. Watching that connection unfold was honestly one of my favorite parts of the session. She even welcomed our two dogs without missing a beat! Having everything done in the comfort of my own home made it that much more special, personal, and stress-free. We absolutely loved having these milestone moments captured in our own space, surrounded by all the things that make our family ours. If you're looking for someone to document this fleeting, irreplaceable season of life with care, artistry, and a whole lot of heart, look no further than Chasing Hiromi. These are photos I will cherish forever. Thank you, Janice :)

On top of that, she even snuck my husband and me away for a few private photos, which I didn't expect but absolutely loved. Janice was wonderful at directing us without making anything feel stiff or awkward. She made the whole session feel easy and fun, and the kids stayed engaged the entire time (a small miracle). The photos turned out beautifully, and we genuinely enjoyed the process. Also, the turnaround time for delivery of photos was even faster than she estimated. We can't wait to work with her again and would recommend her to any family looking for someone patient, talented, and great with kids (and pets!).

It began with a virtual consultation with Nadine and Sofia to go over the details of the photoshoot and next steps. Since I am pregnant and also have two boys, I wanted the photoshoot to be special by capturing our growing family. We decided on a maternity and family holiday photoshoot, which included variety of backgrounds and outfits. The next step was scheduling a in-person fitting prior yo the shoot to try on a few dresses. Sofia put together a styling sheet and provided suggestions on what to wear for my family to coordinate nicely. Sofia also provided a timeline on the day of the shoot, which was very helpful. As a busy pregnant working mom, the best thing about this entire experience was getting professional hair and makeup done at the studio! Shoutout to artist Veronica for making me feel and look my best. I have done two sunrise family photoshoots in the past, and I absolutely do not have the energy, time, or desire to get ready on my own. I also had a maternity in-studio photoshoot done last year, I had to go get makeup and hair done in two different places, then drive an hour, which by then my curls were no longer holding. Not at Sachiko Studios, they will take care of you from beginning to end, and you will feel fresh. After getting hair and makeup done, we did a quick maternity photoshoot session. My family met us at the studio and we did the holiday photoshoot. The in-studio photos of our family portraits turned out lovely. For outdoor shoot, we drove to Bradbury's Bridge, which was about 15 min away. I loved the fall and natural backdrops. Having the option of doing an outdoor photoshoot was great because it captured our active kids candidly. Nadine was so great with my kids! She was able to capture my youngest looking happy and all smiles. She rewarded my oldest for being good at following directions.

My photo session included hair and makeup by one of Nadine's stylists, Quendy (highly recommend!!) and wardrobe! That really helped because my closet consists of leggings and sweaters lol. We did 3 outfit changes, Nadine shot some of my products, and action shots with a model. Nadine made the whole experience very comfortable and fun for someone who is *really* shy and prefers to stay behind the camera. I love how my photos came out and excited for another photo session in the future!

My husband and I were surprised with how good the photos turned out. Owen guided us on poses, so do not worry if you don't have any experience in front of a camera like us. I appreciate his attention to detail (notifying us of stray hairs, etc.) and he was respectful for my family who wanted a group photo. Not to mention, he's really humorous with his pop culture references; that definitely broke the ice and allowed us to be more at ease. I also want to highlight that he works incredibly fast and presented the finished products just a few days after our shoot! She took her time throughout the entire session and never made us feel rushed. Our toddler wasn't initially interested in being in the photos, but Nicole was so patient and engaging that she was able to make her smile, participate, and capture some truly precious sibling and family photos. Toward the end of the session, our newborn started getting fussy. Instead of trying to rush through the remaining poses, Nicole patiently waited for him to calm down and fall asleep. Thanks to her experience and patience, we were able to get the beautiful swaddled sleeping photos we had hoped for. Her studio is beautiful, professional, and thoughtfully set up with everything a family could need during a newborn session. The extra snacks and refreshments were such a thoughtful touch and were especially appreciated by our daughter! Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look
