The first was a fling, the second was a "maybe" but like Goldilocks, this one was "just right!" I never felt pressured or stalked. I shopped and drove several cars locally in the past few weeks. None were this "near new" with the fun factor! Must confess: I am a lousy car shopper. I'm great at arguing but not bargaining. Big difference. But, while outside looking at a car, we noticed the sales manager hovering. After 30 years in sales, most in management, I recognized things were about to go south. I realized there was a potential major issue with the car and advised the sales person we're not interested. At that point the sales manager dragged the sales person into the back office. We were going to beat a hasty retreat but I wanted to have a little fun with the sales manager. Lucky for him he came out, thanked us for our interest and we parted ways. Now for the strong armed part. If you visit this location, DO NOT provide them with your correct contact information. Especially if you are just starting out or looking. They will hound you multiple times a day via email, text, and calls. Luckily we gave them a number which we can easily block their calls. But the emails are coming from multiple sources. We told them to piss off and now the sales manager is emailing us. Needless to say, after this experience we wouldn't think about going back there. If they would have left it with the fond goodbye at the door and made one follow-up attempt. I wouldn't be writing this book of how not to do sales in this day and age. The kid that helped us seemed nice but sadly his manager is going to lead him down a path that may not get him far. Kid, run while you can. You have potential, but only under the right tutelage!!
