When I went by there was only one employee working and when I asked about indoor plants he quickly informed me that they have some succulents but that most of their plants are outdoor plants. I was extremely disappointed by the small selection of pots and other planting materials in the indoor store. The indoor store appeared bare almost as though they were getting ready to go out of business. The outdoor greenhouse was disorganized with stuff strewn about everywhere like they were in the middle of repotting and trimming and didn't bother to clean up. There are a nice selection of trees for landscaping projects but a bunch of the pine trees looked half dead. All the lawn ornaments and fountains which I assumed were for sale were sun damaged and weather worn like they'd been sitting out for years. I ended up with a 4" succulent as a gift for someone for $11 but I probably won't be back. Hopefully they are able to stay in business but they need a serious overhaul and a better selection first.

I decided to drive down there and they did have some tomato varieties and the prices weren't bad at all. $22 for 3 nice sized tomato plant. The same young lady that called me, checked out my order. I…read moredrove to FRL&N today to inquiry about the dead tree knowing I was beyond their 1-year warranty so not expecting their help on that front but mostly trying to gain knowledge. I was asked by one of the employees if I wanted to buy another tree to which I responded that I wasn't sure. At this point the owner (Hubert) entered the conversation and explained that these are hearty trees that thrive in the deserts of New Mexico. After a few questions he told me "if you want to talk, then take a walk. If you want a tree then see me". After confirming that he said to take a walk I expressed that is a heck of an attitude to which he told me the F-off and then threatened to "put a boot up my a**". I have never experienced any such negative attitudes from any employees I have interacted with in the past but this owner really should not be the face of this business. FRL&N is not a low cost source of landscape trees and I am sorry that I spent $3k+ on this trip of pinon pines. As for me, FRL&N will never see another dime from me and I hope no one else ever experiences the rude treatment I received today.

The crew even parked the tree 4 houses down so I could not view it until they had it in the ground. I purchased this healthy $1200 tree in 2023 at full price and before it was delivered, they apparently had a big hail storm that hit their whole yard really hard. They did not notify me of the hail damage to the tree I bought, and when I complained they told me the tree would bounce back after a couple years. It has now looked the same (hail damaged and unhealthy) for 3 years since it was planted and they will not refund or warranty or acknowledge they gave me a hail damaged tree that was original bought as healthy at full price. Now they want to charge me to remove it! There are half a dozen other much better services in the immediate to use. Pictured is what The Sprucery thinks is okay for $1200. They are totally shady and not in a good shade tree kind of way.

Debra was very knowledgeable and so helpful as she took me around to pick out a perfect selection of plants (three carts worth). They are all planted now and look beautiful! My first time time there, everyone smiled and greeted you and offered help even though they were busy filling orders! The staff was very knowledgeable and enjoyed offering recommendations. They took a lot of time to show me and answered all of my questions. I was impressed with the amazing customer service I receive every time I am there. They have a large selection of trees and shrubs. The flowers and other plants are priced just right and I end up buying more. I have over 30 plants and 2 trees from them over the 3 years and everyone plant is thriving in my yard. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and they also offer a full year warranty, but I doubt you will ever use it since the quality is there without you paying more than other places! They also have classes as well where you can build and plot your own which was cool and something I'll have to check back in the future. MoMo also had a fantastic time exploring the gardens smelling everything and exploring. Lots of pretty photo ops for the doggos.
