My name is Peter vitale . I bought a car from JD byrider of Nampa Idaho. Back in 2023 in August. It had a warranty at the time. I month of having car had to replace Cadillac converter with other other problems sensors . The salesman made lie on application about my job. Which is fraud. . I just again had to take back in for issues with the transmission they want over four grand for me to get it back out I can't afford it. Byrider of Nampa won't get me into another car. They're liars their scam artists they take advantage of people that's with mental problems. Don't anybody buy from these guys they'll get you in the end when the warranty runs out and then you're stuck and can't get your car out I want to sue them anybody out there going through the same stuff read more

Shop with extreme caution I bought a Jeep Commander notice the differential is leaking before I bought it told them to fix it they lied they said they fixed it they never did the differential failed today do not shop at byrider they are liars they should be by liars read more

Please I advise all people that shop with this company to never get a car from them. They have done nothing but take all our money and do a poor quality job my car has lost 8 total quarts of oil and it jerks back and dies every time you try to start and drive it. The check engine light is on constantly and they are doing a shit job and expecting outrages prices. Never ever buy a car from them. They have the worst customer service I've ever expe and it's not even my car. My bf bought a jeep from them and it's done nothing but break down every few months. it's always something. Wish I could give them 0 stars! They were horrible to us. First off it's says on their website they check every car to make sure it's mechanically sound and in good condition. They claim they put a lot of money into the cars they finance before they sell them to the public but isn't that what the extended warranty is there for to cover any mistakes they make? We bought a mustang convertible from them and the way the manager was talking to us, he was basically saying how he's so generous and he took off some money from the original purchase price of 17,995 for a 2010 mustang lol and that we should basically be grateful to him for financing us, even though we had a ton of income just not the best credit scores. They are a buy here pay here lender and they are about as predatory as they come. We ended up just taking it back to them and they threatened my husband with legal action which is very illegal in idaho. But we just ignored it, when we returned it we asked the manager to provide a document stating that this was a voluntary repo not an involuntary repo and he flat out refused and said we'd have to go to the Boise location and see if they would write something up. We didn't even bother... Before it could hit our credit scores we went to cat max and they approved us and they weren't sleeze bags to us the whole time. They offered 5 dollar oil changes for life when we purchased the vehicle but then the new year came up and they changed the price to 15. We had an issue day one after driving off the lot with the cars AC so we took it to them to fix and they said it just needed to be recharged so they generously did that service at no charge. The AC still wasn't working right so we called and scheduled another appt this time they said there was a leak in the line but they had gone ahead and replaced it for us. Then it still wasn't functioning well so I had a mechanic come to my house to check it out, he said that basically the AC condenser or compressor I don't remember which one was literally melting onto the frame of my car... Wtf? By then the car was making the loudest rattling noises I've ever heard and it was so embarrassing to drive it that's when we said enough is enough and took it back to byrider. They offer a warranty but then can't get you in the shop for over a month sometimes two months it was basically a useless piece of paper. Now I knew they couldn't put a repo on our records because I bought a car from the Boise location 6 years prior and I made them come get the car from a Albertsons parking lot lol and they didn't report me so I knew they couldn't pursue anything against my husband because that would definitely be illegal to do it to one person but not another. They have really high interest rates and that doibles or triples the amount you pay on the loan over 5 years, I don't even think they sell any cars that last 5 years. They also claim to have loaner cars available while your car is in the shop but the million times my car was in the shop they said they didn't have a loaner for me. Stay away from byrider at all costs you'll just end up spending 4× the amount you would for the kbb price of the cars current value, they jack up the prices on their cars and we get treated like crap for going there in the first place like obviously you weren't our first choice but we didn't think we'd get approved anywhere else. So now the car is reporting negatively on my husband's credit report even though they are bhph and only do in house financing! I'm sure we have legal reasons to sue them but they are not worth our time and now we have a much nicer car and a great warranty from CarMax so all I can say is don't go to byrider even if you think it's your only optiok...
