I am amazed how great my car looks after leaving it with Jay and Joseph! It looks beautiful, super clean and better than the day I bought it new in 2013! They treated my windows with RainX as well and with all the downpours of late in the Bay Area, I feel silly that I've been driving with such decreased visibility. Just tried these guys for the first time I live in Alamo and was unhappy with the Alamo auto spa for my detailing. These guys did a fantastic job. I have a 2016 full-size Range Rover and a very difficult color to clean Mariana black which in the sunlight like a deep blue. Even when I got it from the dealer it had superfine swirl marks all over The piece of plastic in car was detailed twice and the marks remained. I just picked up my car from JD and every Mark is gone the car looks better than the day I got it from the dealer. Great experience with Jay and crew. My car looks fantastic.. took them all day but it seems almost new (2004 Volvo). Scheduling They were very easy to communicate with and choose a scheduled time. Jay and JD are incredible!! My car is a 2007 Civic and looks almost new, way above and beyond what I expected. My car was slightly moulded from sitting during rain, covered in desert sand, and had a bunch of dings and scratches from years of wear and tear. They were able to remove almost all the scratches and even had some matching paint in house and touched it up. They were also able to remove the mould stains. The car looks amazing! They took a little longer than expected, but dropped it off at my house so it wasn't an inconvenience. Great guys, I highly recommend them. read more

We were trading our 2008 BMW and wanted to make sure it presented well because it has lived outside for 10 years, endured 3 kids and a dog and not had a lot of love recently. Wow - it looked like the car we bought 10 years ago and JD even said it was in excellent condition and wanted to know why we were getting rid of it. Top end of the Kelly Blue Book on the trade in with the first pass of the paper across the desk. The sales person also said "its in excellent condition". I have used JD Morse twice and been overwhelmed by the results. Someone had spilled a sweetened, coffee drink on the side of my 2010 Murano at an airport parking lot and it sat in the sun for about a week before I discovered it. After several detailers said that they are not sure hot to remove the residue or afraid of damaging the paint, these guys took the challenge on and removed every last trace with no damage to the the paint. Every time my car comes back from them, I am amazed how stunning my car, who lives its life in parking lots with door nicks and constant sun, looks. Joe and Jay did an AMAZING job on my car. I recently moved back to the Bay Area from Colorado where I had done extensive off road driving on gravel roads. The paint on the hood and bumpers had extensive chips and both bumpers had large scratch marks. They took down the VIN # and went to the Honda dealer to get an exact match for the original paint. The car now looks like brand new! They performed an incredibly thorough detailing of the car, both inside and out. My neighbor, the original owner of the car, saw my car after the detailing and commented that the car looked as good as the day he bought it new. These guys did a fantastic job on my convertible Jaguar. The exterior has a glossy slick finish and the interior and roof look fantastic. They spent the whole day on the car. They even offered to check the computer for any alerts. Follow up appointments will be $50 and that seems very reasonable. I was very happy with this service! I love how they come to your house to pick up your car and take it to their shop to get the job done right. After five hours of a full detail job inside and out they drive it back home to like it just left the dealership. I didn't think there was much JD could do for my older Camry. Just expected a wash and wax would help her repel the winter rains. What Joe and Jay do is amazing, the magic must be in the detailing for when I picked her up she was shinning like a Much loved BMW. You could see my smile reflecting in the hood. I've lived in this area for 25 years and have tried several detail services. I tend to drive black cars, which can be difficult to make "perfect", so I've never been overwhelmed by the results. Since nobody had met my expectations, I decided to give JD Morse a shot last week with my 4-year old metallic black Mercedes C300. The car had never been polished, waxed, etc. -- only regular trips to the car wash. I was considering selling it, which is what brought me out to the detailers. They were able to get me in on a Sunday, which was great. I dropped the car off in the morning, and Jay called when it was done later in the evening. When I saw the car at pickup, I was overwhelmed. It actually looked like a different car -- more like a show-car than a daily driver! The paint gloss was so rich that clouds were perfectly reflected. I've had the car since it was brand new, and it never looked half that good. Not only have I finally found the last detail service I will ever use, but I decided to keep the car. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Jay and Joe responded to my request for a quote so quickly and offered to pick up and drop off my car from my home! They were right on time and when they returned my 2011 BMW it looked brand new. They are really amazing... and sooooo nice!! They are also super knowledgable about cars and my older car needs additional maintenance that they are now helping me get (windshield is cracked, side mirror needs to be replaced, electrical isn't working, etc.) They can do this work or use their network to help me get it done. And did I mention, they can pick up and drop off the car at my home? :) This so worked for me!! I am their new biggest fan and actually look forward to getting some other details taken care of. I had my Audi S5 detailed at JD Detailing in Lafayette a week ago. They did a wash, clay bar, wax & polishing, and cleaned the leather interior. Jay and Joe, the owners, worked on the car for over 4 hours and it looks great. The finish is now smooth and the Blue Pearl color really snaps. My wheels sparkle again after brake dust removal and wax application. It cost a reasonable $250 which I consider a great value. J&J are very friendly and knowledgeable and they spent time addressing all my concerns. They won't try to upsell you on a ceramic coating either. JD Morse Detailing went out of their way to help me remove overspray from my car paint/windows after a fencing company failed to take the appropriate precautions when spraying sealant. I have a child who still needs to be in a car seat and had no other form of transportation so Jay picked up and dropped off my car at my home, working late into the night to finish the job. He picked up my car at 9 pm and dropped it back off by 8:30 the next morning. My car looks awesome and I was so relieved to be able to get the sealant removed immediately after the incident. Chapparal and tree branches raked and abraded the auto from front to back and top to bottom. I seriously believed I would have to repaint my car. I called JD Morse in the morning. They came and got the car, assessed the damage and told me clearly and honestly what they could do. This is by far the best auto detailing shop I have gone to. The owners took such great care of my car both inside and out that it looked better than when I first bought it. They were even able to repair a small dent on my rear bumper which was amazing. The pricing is better than most other place and they were done within 3 hours. I can bring it back in for just a wash and vacuum for about the same price as going to a car wash. Unlike all the other drive in and go places this is truly a hand wash and you don't get any of the scratches that the other so called brushless places leave. I'll bring it in every 6 months and keep it like brand new. Two weeks later my car still looks like it did when they finished. It still sparkles and shines. Really bad experience. Jay kept my car for 2 days and when I checked the car the next day I noticed one of the molding was buffed and apparently ruined and they tried to cover it with some paint or do something that came off by itself. Now it is white and not silver like it originally was. Other things were also not very well finnish but this was very bad. We went to the shop give him the opportunity to fix the mistake but he was rude and denied everything. He keep saying that we did something to it. I took the car to be detailed why I will do even touch the car again? Non sense. In the other hand, he was also trying really hard to convince me to buy tires through him with the guys next door and was very disappointed that we did not. He was getting the tires from them 200 dollars less of what we were quote on the phone even though we told them he sent us. Fishy very fishy the whole situation. Then he said the car will take longer and he was by himself doing the job. Maybe he didn't know how to do the job and he buffed the molding without knowing that it will get ruined. Long story short, I contacted him with the good intention to get it fix and explained us what had happened, but we just received accusations and a very bad actitud. We paid him $250 and now replace the part is another $200. I'm so disappointed with the whole situation. Very unprofessional and unethical business. read more
