JD Slicks isn't a huge bar but has everything you'd need. Husband and I go in routinely to play pool at random times. The drinks are good and what you'd expect to pay. The food is decent. It's not the cheapest food, but we've never ordered something we regretted later. Overall, as a woman, I'd feel comfortable going to this bar alone. read more

Super chill dive bar with good bar food, tons of drink options, and pool/darts. Easy stop when coming back to Seattle from Steven's pass. Service was very good. They made sure we got our orders timely and when there was a mistake, they gave us the meal for free! The food quality is high, you can tell the food is fresh as well. Had low expectations stopping here but they blew us out of the water. Highly recommend ordering their burgers. read more

This place has the best mozzarella sticks I have ever had...I may be saying that because I was also drunk when I ate them. But I definitely recommend trying them! The only downside is that the burgers were very greasy. It's delicious but so greasy. The bartenders/waitresses were hit and miss. One was super friendly and checked on our table often, the other one was a little cold. She acted like it was an inconvenience that we were there. I have mixed feelings about this place, but we will try it again, sober this time. Lol read more

There's nothing wrong per se with the food here, but it all seems to be pre-frozen stuff. And that's sad. You can get that kind of stuff anywhere. These small spots need to really focus on made in house and limit their menu, if that's what it takes to do made in house. It's a big space. They occasionally have entertainment. It's clean. They bar looks okay. Service is good. But that food... So, I don't get all the excitement for this place. I think it's just okay at best. read more

Horrible Horrible... Cafeteria food from a hospital is better... Seriously. The food at evergreen hospital is Kirkland... At the cancer center.. Good court odds better and less$$ I have given this place 3 tries. 2 in person and one takeout ... Months apart... Different days of the week .... Everytime it sucked. the place is clean, the help is friendly and good, although I have not been there when it was busy. the food is really good and generous and fairly priced. The only thing I had a problem with is I ordered fish and chips and a side salad. Got the salad first as I asked and then the fish came and no chips. She said she subbed my salad for the fires. Okay. My husband ordered prime rib dip which has multiple choices of fires, onion rings, tater tots........so he chose tots. When the bill came we were charged for the salad and for the tots and when we asked about it, it we were told we did not get charged the full price of what a normal "substitution" would be. Doesn't make since to me. That is the second restaurant in the area that this local will not be going back to because of all the added costs. read more

We came for the Seahawk game and the service was great. They have a couple pool tables, a comfy area with couches and an awesome stage and dance floor. Coming during the Seahawk game was fun, and we could see the game well. The owners go out of the way to make sure everyone has a good time. They give out tickets and the beginning of the quarter, and if they call your number at the end of the quarter you win prizes! We got a really nice set of Seahawk magnets, Seahawk coasters, Seahawk dream catcher and a Seahawk candle. A very, very nice gift! Come for the drinks, dancing and fun - it's typical deep fried bar food - wouldn't recommend the food necessarily, but if you're in the mood for deep fried food you'll love it! read more

Burgers were huge and quite juicy... and amazing.Mine was a patty, pulled BBQ pork, and 2 kinds of cheese-OMG! They send a steak knife, and you gotta cut it in 1/2 to eat it. Great tasting and quite filling- we had no room left for the fries, which were also excellent. Service wasn't real quick- gave you time to down the first drink before food. LOVE this place and the Owners, Joe & Dawn. What a GR8 evening we had here. We are in our 60's and had a blast talking to the owners and their friends playing darts. Sang Karaoke and listened to Joe sing. What a great voice. I can see why he made it to The VOICE! Definitely, will come back anytime we are in town. Thanks so much to JD and Staff. Food is fantastic.
