If I could give JDog Junk Removal 6 stars, I would! Ian and Latchman came to my rescue when I needed help with stuff that needed to go to the dump, including old windows, ruined rugs, broken recycling bins and a heavy old wooden door that I had trouble lifting. I decided to give JDog a try after I read a glowing review of the company in the local newspaper. My experience went so well that now I'm the one posting the glowing review. The thing about JDog is that it employs veterans. I strongly believe in hiring veterans because I'm so grateful for their service to our country. The team arrived early. They were polite, nice and very strong. They made quick work of the project. They came in a very large truck. My stuff filled up about a quarter of the truck. I thought the price that I was charged was very reasonable for the amazing work they did. What surprised me was my reaction as they prepared to leave. They came at the time they said they would. Showed them everything and they went to work. Very honest as they asked if a light set was to be thrown out and it was a new set my daughter had bought. We set up a scheduled appointment which included pictures of items that needed to be removed. Arrived as scheduled with 2 individual's to pick up. Did not take everything that was included in the pictures and the price. Once they felt the truck was filled (clearly there was more room and even offered to help put the items in the truck) and even asked if they wanted a ladder to put the addition items. Refused to take any additional items. Was a total waste of $650.00 and will never ever recommend or ever hire again. UPDATE- received call from owner - explained they should have taken pictures of before and after pick up that would have insured all items were picked up as per original pictures/agreement- Offered to send another truck for pick up, which we declined, we received a refund of $100.00. read more

Someone suggested them for a couch removal, so after some checking around, they were definitely the cheapest and were able to pick up within a couple days, which considering it was Friday when I called, was perfect. They gave me a call 20 minutes before arrival and when they got there, the one gentleman got out, introduced himself and shook my hand. Grabbed my couch and paid and they went on their way. We needed someone to come and remove a pool that was damaged during a wind storm. Called a few places, most wanted over $1,000. My boyfriend is a police officer and while working spotted one of their trucks. I emailed them, they called immediately Gave us a quote that was more than reasonable.
